Good speaker & alarm in one. Was worth the buy and love that it is a Voice smart and has the google assistant built in

The Insignia Voice Speaker out of the box looks and feels remarkably similar to the regular sized Google Home. It does sit a little taller and broader, but it features a similar fabric material around the lower half of the speaker. Overall, this is pretty much the Google Home I’ve always wanted. It’s large enough to have decent sounding speakers, it comes with an always-on digital clock, and it doesn’t break the bank.

I like this for wake up reminders and morning news. Can do internet searches for songs and make calls to others. Pretty much everything a computer google assistant can do it does, only stand alone. The voice recognition program is very sensitive so kind of spooky when it answers when you are not speaking to it but to someone else.

Fast connection, good quality. Responds well to commands. It told me Alexa is okay but it is better...lol. Love it

I got a awesome deal on this speaker and I'm so happy I did buy it, love the Google assistant and it sounds really good.

I got two of these and am happy with the purchase, the sound quality is good and the clock display is an added benefit.

This is a good alarm clock. I got this at a discounted price with another purchase. There were a few hiccups with the Google Assistant setup but with some persistence, I got it done. The sound when playing songs from Google Play is good, but not fantastic. When you ask Google for the weather, the temperature will display on the screen for a short amount of time, but it doesn't remain or update until you ask again.

Speaker looks good on my window sill, volume is solid and Google Assistant works very quickly. Got it for a good price as well.

Sons loves this little google assistant. At only $30 it was a great deal and puts out decent sound for a little speaker.

The Insignia Smart Speaker is basically a Google smart speaker with a display. It is a decent speaker, good bass and fidelity, but a great alarm clock. Adding the clock display was a brilliant idea, making it a perfect bedroom addition. The Google Home Hub is really the next step up, but at about four times the price. For a good, inexpensive 'next-gen' alarm clock, this can't be beat.

Great sound that fills up the whole room. It was easy to connect to my Wifi and did everything I expected to. I gave it as a Christmas present to my son. Should have gotten one for me too. He wouldn't let me have it back (just to see if I can. :) ) and he's picky about his electronics too! BTW, he also got another similar gift. It's not Goggle, it starts with an "A". :) He hooked that up but decided it was inferior to this and gave that one to me. :) No, I want his!!!! LOL!

Was very easy to set up. It works well. Good at accurately interpreting voice commands.

As long as you don't spend more for this device than you would a google home device, it's a good product. It is nice it has a clock on it so don't have to ask what time it is, however, this is NOT an alarm clock as advertised. It ONLY has a current time display. If you want to set an alarm, you have to do that through google home. All google devices can act like an alarm, so this is no different.

This alarm clock does its job. It's overall a good value if you're looking for a smart alarm clock with Bluetooth. My primary issue with it is the display size. I wear glasses and in the morning when I first wake up I don't have them on obviously. I find it hard to read the display when I roll over and look at the clock. If your eyesight isn't an issue and you may very well love this clock.

It does have nice sound. Very easy to use. I like it’s compact size. I leave it out on my counter and doesn’t look out of place.

I was hesitant to purchase this clock radio as I am an avid Amazon Alexa user, however given the great price (Black Friday) and the lack of a reasonable Alexa alternative, I purchased this clock radio for my bedroom. The initial set-up was smooth and the device did an automatic update right away to correct the time to Pacific Time. The sound is pretty good given the small form factor. So far, I'm a happy owner.

The product has good sound quality for the price. My issues are lack of Google AI updates and staying connected. My Google minis never lose connection these do at least once a week. if you're just starting out and you catch this unit for incredible sale like I did (bought multiple units) then it's a good starter set.

got this on sale and i really like it...great sound...super easy setup...tho i do wish temp was displayed all the time!!

First let me get this out of the way, if you plan to use this as a reliable alarm clock you must have STRONG wifi. If wifi ever goes of and on this device will reconnect to it automatically, but it will lose any alarms you have set and will not go off. As for the product itself I love it. Sound is good, and it does all functions of a regular google home except this one does not make phone calls.
