it is really loud and works better than the google home mini. The sound is decent.

Bought this for my teenage son while looking for an alarm clock. Needed something loud. Wasn't sure as the display in the store was busted :( Bestbuy has to do better on the demo's in store.... However, I purchased it anyways. Turned out to be very loud as an alarm. It so loud that it wakes up everyone but my son. Works just like a Google Mini/Home/Chromecast to setup. Need a device to connect/pair it to and then it's all google assistance. Weird not having buttons that control the major features but cool that it is mostly voice controlled. You can use the Google Home app to control some things. The downside is the fact that you can control everything from one device. I have not found a way to prevent my son from changing my Chromecast content from in his room. Well, not a pretty way... Maybe there is a parental or administrator (king of the castle) feature that will prevent that via voice detection. Hasn't been a big enough deal to me yet. This by no means is the fault of the device but rather Google Assistance's maturity. Or the lack of me finding a solution. I assume its not an included feature as you have to go through a pretty extensive voice training process at the initial setup. Seems like it would know the King from the Prince...Right? If you are looking for an inexpensive connected (WiFi/Bluetooth) speak/clock that is not too bad looking, I recommend it.

In my home I have Alexa, JBL-3 potable speaker and Nest Mini 2 1. First of all in terms of Sound Quality, I feel JBL-3 and Insignia- voice both offer amazing sound quality for listening to music. 2. Comparing Alexa and Insignia- voice, Alexa is more responsive regarding playing music and listens very accurately and thereby responding better

This is a great clock / Google Assistant speaker. It's so good, that I have two of them now -- when they went some ridiculously low price. The only thing that is slightly annoying, is that there can be a pulsing white light on the back of the device; the user guide says it only does that during a reboot, but I'm finding that's not entirely correct. All in all, great speaker / clock.

This speaker with Android Assistant built-in is phenomenal! Sounds great, and is super handy to set night alarm with.

I have not had wireless issues like other people reviewing this. The sound quality is decent for music if you compare it to other clock radios. If you are looking for fidelity go elsewhere. But an excellent choice for a google assistant. I don't have much automation, but I do have a chromecast in a CEC HDMI port on my tv so I can ask google to turn it on and off, etc. When these things are on sale they are the best deal you will find to get in to a google device.

Definitely a must buy. The alarm plus the voice / Google assistance makes this small but powerful unit a must buy.

I picked this clock up for 24.99, I was not expecting much. I was surprised at how well it works. It does not have as much setting as the google home (Bass and trebble adjustment) but for the price difference I am ok with that. Sound quality is great fills normal sized room with no problem. It would have been nice if you could make the tempature always stay on the display, but you only get ten seconds of temp display time when you ask. Overall a great buy.

This device complies with what it promises. the quality of construction is very good. the audio is good, for the price range. I do not recommend it for use in large rooms, for example in the main room. In a bedroom it is perfect. Maybe the larger model works better in other spaces. Very convenient the introduction of a USB port of carga.En general the product is very good offer.

My wife wanted the google mini but this insignia came up on Best Buy dead of the day for 25 and I’m glad I bought it helps her around the house when she’s cooking she uses the timer and ask helpful tips without holding the phone or anything else all she do is “ok google “ and this device has a clock screen which google mini doesn’t have and really loud and clear sound
