I have a Google Assistant enable home and was looking for another device. For the price - this is a very good speaker. Only downside is that the Google firmware version is behind, so some of the feature available on the Google Home are not available on this device

Great alternative to the Google Home Mini. I was looking for a Google Home speaker that had a display, and this is perfect. it wakes me up in the morning, plays music while I'm relaxing in my room, lets me control my smart home devices and answer my questions. It used to not be able to take calls, but now it can!

I like all in one device. It is alarm, speaker and google assistant. Speaker quality is good. I got it for really good deal. Sometime google assistance does not listen but I think it is distance issue. Otherwise it is perfect and also understand my kids voice.

Bought this because it looks like a perfect Google home replacement, plus it has a clock. I already have a Google home so I really wanted to see how they compare. This product definitely is a perfect replacement for a Google home if that's what you really want but don't want to spend the money. I'd highly recommend.

I have become addicted to the routine's that have changed and information center this device has provided. I speak to it of a morning and again at night and it updates me each time to what I want to hear. Then any other time I have a simple question, it is a quick resource. And it was very reasonably priced to boot.

This was the second speaker I purchased. The first was purchased at $25 as an open box five days earlier. Dope features. Haven’t dug into the google Assistant capabilities other than telling it to set alarms. Has a lot of base for such a small speaker. It serves it purpose and I enjoy using it as a Bluetooth speaker.

Got this as a gift for my wife. Easy use, great sound

I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality that this speaker put out. I also appreciate how is has a USB port to charge your device. The sound fills the bedroom with music. The bass is not loud or powerful, but it is adequate for a speaker this size.

The Insignia has better sound than the mini. Not sure about the Home. Wish it could make calls like the mini and home versions do. The mics sometimes have a hard time hear your voice compared to the mini.

Very easy to setup and use. Great sound quality too.

Came free with purchase of a Keurig coffee maker. Used mostly as a Bluetooth speaker but the Google assistant works well when on wi-fi. Easy setup and good volume. Sometimes volume will randomly cut to 20 for a second or two but then returns to previous setting.

I didn't expect the sound quality to be that great. Since it's bigger than a google home mini, my thought was it should be slightly better. However, listening to music on it is actually pretty good. It's responsive and does everything the assistant is expected to do. And the sale price made it so much better.

I love mine, however, I have had too much trouble with Insignia branded items in the last year, this being one of them. I have gotten 3 of these and one of the wireless ones that you recharge. One of these small ones will not finish the set up. I thought it had, but then it appeared to be updating and was no longer in my list of devices. I tried the process several times. When I add it and get it connected to the wifi, it goes into the update, it doesn't ever stop, and it pulls a lot of bandwidth, so it effected other things at that point. I finally gave up on this one last night and will try to find time to exchange it, which is a real inconvenience and why I have things shipped to me. I use these with my home automation (smartthings, hue, wink, etc). So if you have to exchange it, you have to do it within the time period of your return policy. Sometimes I don't open things right away when I buy them, so 14 days goes by fast. Luckily I have a 45 day return policy with elite plus. I still love these devices in spite of the inconvenience of having to exchange this one.

This is a decent speaker with Giigle Assistant Built-in. Works pretty good for what it is. You can't beat the value when it's on sale. The only concern is that when Google Assistant gets an update, it may take a while for this speaker to get it.

When I first bought these the Google assistant wasn't fully functional (couldn't set an alarm clock, control lights, or even set a timer....called tech and they fixed it w/in a week or so). So, now that they are working, pretty cool. Saves a lot of online searches as you can simply ask Google verbally :)

Easy to setup, the time zone was set correctly, so firmware issue mention in a previous review about this seems fixed. Sound quality is good. I used it to replace alarm clock since it has more functionality. With connection to Smart Life app, voice can be used to control turn on/off light etc. very convenient.

For the $25 price (down from an original $100 one) it was a great bargain! I liked it so much I went back and bought another one when the price dropped again from the regular price to $30. Dependable and alllows a wide variety of places to stream from in addition to having Google Assistant at your beck and call.

Has google assist works great. The sound is awesome

Well it's not so much that I'm lazy but being able to tell this product what to do, or what I need is a whole lot easier than remembering which button to push or knob to turn. Am I right? How many instruction manuals have you had to refer to just to remember how to set an alarm, or worse yet, how to cancel one...

Great little speaker. All was great. All is working as designed. Clock "Ok Google" questions and answers worked great. Now I am working to link this to my Google Chromecast. This is the beginning of my Google Home and,... It does it great.
