The speaker is awesome! It displays the time always and temperature when you ask it. The sound quality is fantastic but I gave this 4 stars only because you have to scream at the speaker when there is music playing and the volume is all the way up.

The item has superior sound when compared to Google mini. The microphones are far better on Google home devices and they will always receive updates first. This is a good alternative if you don't mind waiting a few months for the latest features

Not only does this speaker do everything the google home speaker does but it has the added benefit of a clock and display which also shows weather temp. This was also half the price of what I paid for my google home when I bought it. It joins my home group of google speakers with ease and fluidity.

This alam clock starts my morning with plenty of news and information. You can call up news, podcasts or streaming radio stations of your choice. The Google assistant will sometimes come up with useful information to questions. I have not tried connecting to home control devices. They are too expensive for me.

This is a really great alarm clock for use in my bedroom. I no longer use my regular alarm since this is so easy to use. The Bluetooth also helps when I am watching tv at night so I don't have to worry about the volume being too loud which would bother my upstairs neighbor at my condo.

This unit allows a great companion if your always asking Siri things all the time, need some background music or just have some fun. Good range with WIFI, voice commands, ease of set up and use. Would be 5 star if same size and rechargeable.

Equipped with Google Assistant, this speaker has most of what any smart speaker can offer: Google Home integration, voice capabilities, etc. ... The sound is relatively clear, although a bit lacking when it comes to bass... but hey... what can you expect from something the size of a pineapple? One irritating feature with this speaker (and I guess with any smart speaker) surfaces when you connect to it via Bluetooth from a Windows PC and ask (using voice) to play something. Windows will stop that playback after a few seconds, enforcing priority of its Bluetooth connection to the speaker. Although it's more Windows' fault than the speaker's, it's enough to, along with not-high-end sound quality, to remove one star. But... for the price... there's nothing better on the market at the moment, especially if you buy it on a sale.

Very inexpensive and great sounding google mini/home alternative. I definitely recommend this one over the mini as far as sound quality goes. I will say though, with voice commands while you have music playing or in general is a bit tougher than the original Google products.

Great speaker for the bedroom with google assist feature, good for listening to music, news without getting off the bed... however, sometimes if volume is too loud, kinda hard to get the attention of google.. also, the alarm does not seems to trigger any alerts, so not sure how to fix it.

I got the product because it was on sale. The set up was easy. I connected it through the "Google home" app. The light for the time is soft but bright. During the night I have to move the device around. The sound is average. I like that device has Bluetooth. The set up is common to pair to a phone.

I bought this impulsively with low expectations of its value. I was very surprised by its features and how much I can do with the Google Home/Assistant portion of it. I even came back and bought two more as gifts. Grab one when they are on sale and you will feel like you won a small lottery.

With the time display, it gives a bit more information than the Google Mini or Home. Also, at a glance, you'd know if an alarm is set. It also displays the outside temp for 10 seconds, if you ask for it. The larger form factor also results in a richer bass sound. It is definitely a good buy.

I picked this up during one of the door buster events and it was a great price too from the original price. This is a pretty decent speaker. It has a good sound quality as well as you can also make phone calls through the speaker too.

I don't know where I even read about this device, but, the sale price was right and I love it. Much less than a Google Mini Assistant. It was a snap to set up and link to my Google Home device and Bluetooth. Just say 'OK Google, set an alarm for 7:30' and it's set. Got another for my wife's bedroom.

I happened across this on sale, comparatively 75% off from a Google Home with the added advantage of having a clock. The microphones are sensitive, and the sound quality is decent (comparable to the Google Home). (I don't generally listen to music on this, but I have no complaints when I do.)

...with this device, which I got on sale for about $21 with tax. It substitutes well as a bedside clock radio. It has the time displayed and shows the temp. outside if you ask about the weather. I like being able to call up radio stations, set volume, turn things on and off by voice. Not too many clock radios from the old days can do that. I do notice that commands can take a second or so longer to execute than my Google Home Mini which is a little annoying. All the same features are here though. Also the sound quality and volume is no better than the Home Mini; in fact it's not quite as good IMHO. Still, this was overall a good value.

I just need an alarm clock, but this is so much better. It's easy to set up and use. I only have to say what I need, and it's done. I can tell it what time I need the alarm to go off. I can tell it to play country music. I can ask it a question. It's excellent and didn't know I needed it, but I did.

Christmas Gifts For A Family Member.. I Set This Up For Her., And She Loved It. She Can Leave It By Her Beside And Play Her Music, Ask Google Questions etc... With Out Asking Someone To Come Do It For Her, She Can Use Her Voice To Do It Herself... Great Product For Someone Who Is Confined To Their Bed...

It´s a great product, especially what you get for the price. The best part is that you don't need to talk to it, to find out the time. But because of that, I´ll keep it in the living room. The display is too bright for the bedroom.
