I bought this because I wanted to be able to see the time on my bedside stand. It works well and the Google Assistant works just like other products with it built in. I got the item on sale and am very happy with it.

Generally happy with this, like the fact is resembles an alarm clock - time display on front and I use it for a daily alarm. Voice activation works well, was able to sync easily to my Zwave modules, Google Home, Nest thermostat, Smartthings hub, etc. My one complaint - it seems like this loses the wifi connection, so has to reestablish and there is a delay at times with voice feedback and/or home automation functions. But, it works and the voice commands to turn on lights, etc. very nice, cool to "snooze" the alarm in the morning just by "Hey Google, snooze the alarm for xx minutes." Overall, pretty happy with this.

I use it mostly for the Google assistant feature and it works fine for this. It seems to have very good sound quality. It has been a good addition for using my smart devices.

Great buy on Deal of the Day picked up for 25.00 bought two got home set up quickly and started using right away my whole loved it. So I bought another that same night some I got 3 in my house great for whole family too use.

I was originally looking for an atomic alarm clock when I found this item. It’s very cool and works well. Perfect alarm clock and way to bring a smart speaker in the bedroom. I use it to control the lights on my room.

Bought 3 for Christmas. One took forever to setup, no matter how many times I factory reset it. Not nearly as seamless as actual Google products. Sound is OK, maybe a bit less bass than Google Home but not bad for $25 (better than a Mini). Buyer beware though--speaker is advertised with "time and temperature" display, but it doesn't show temp long--only after you ask Google to tell you what the temp is outside. Box is misleading, product description is misleading. But I guess for 25 bucks... Meh.

I have 3 of these clocks and for the most part they work great. When setting them up they had to do a software update and 1 out of the 3 became bricked after the software update and stopped working. I was able to exchange it and the new one works great. So just be aware you could get a faulty one. Other than that I am very happy with them. Speaker works great. The screen brightness does not change with the light in the room like my lenovo smart clock, you have to set the brightness manually on the Insignia.

I love the convenience and it sounds great! Speaking to the Google Assistant is easy and convenient. From turning on lights to asking about the weather, it's great!

It works ok. Seems like the cord has a shortage straight out the box. Sound is good for a small speaker in the bedroom. However, I would not pay full price for this.

This Insignia device works well and the installation was simple. This works as a clock since time is displayed continually, and the sound is also good for a small speaker.

This is a review for the large model. The smaller, portable model has more shallow sound and it did not allow me to turn off the screen. However, the size is much more reasonable. Pros: good sound and volume, able to turn off screen, sensitive microphone Cons: a little big, back area near mute button gets hot when plugged in, battery drains quicker than I would expect even when not playing music, I don’t think it’ll function without internet connection, persistent red LED power light from back, takes a fair amount of trial and error to figure out what commands are possible, collects dust very easily

Bough one of these far myshelf the first time they were on sale and loved it. Bought this one for my son for a present. If you time it right you can get Hey Google and Alexa to talk to each other if you have both.

My whole family uses this bluetooth speaker. We play music all the time. If you need a question answered, just ask....I got an amazing deal and that makes me smile.

Pros: The sound is good, the bass is nice. Cons: The voice detection is weak, sometime I need to shout at it for multiple times or need to walk nearer to get it hear me.

Works pretty well as an alarm clock. Speaker has good sound and fidelity. Only drawback is sometimes it loses it's mind and needs to be reset.

For the price I got it, it worked very well. My son loves this speaker. I was able to configure it as my son’s alarm clock, playing a song from his favorite band all scheduled through google home with this speaker.

We received this as a gift last year and I was surprised how much use it. So easy and convenient. I tell it to play specific music and ask all kinds of questions, no hands needed. So we bought one for my parents.

I got this free with the purchase of my wife's Kitchen Aid Mixer. I had the Google Home in the past but this one with the built in clock makes for a great bed side alarm clock!

This bluetooth speaker sounds just right in my master bedroom. Light display is not too bright at night. I leave my door open and it sounds just right in my living room as well.

This is my first ever Voice Activated piece of equipment! Very easy to setup and friendly to all ages. This one is a AC Power only, for those who didn't know. It has a good surround sound for it's speaker. Very neatly done!
