The speaker sounds pretty good. It has a clock too. It's has Google assistant and works well. Easy set up.

Most people use alexa.........but you pay monthly for that service. This item is $100 which I got on black friday for $30 which I was gonna give away as a gift. But I decided to open it and use it. It is my alarm clock, music player, I ask it questions......Its great and has no monthly service bill. Once you connect it to your Wifi, just say GOOGLE and it will play music from your phone or google music, it can be used as a bluetooth to your phone......I love it.....well worth the price even if I paid full price

This is a good device. All the features that you expect work as long a it is available in the firmware of the device. The version of Google in these is a little behind the current Google Home. You do not get phone calls, which is important to me. Fortunately I got this for my bedroom to use mostly for a clock, weather and radio in a main room.. Received this free during the holiday season when I purchased a Insignia Wine fridge. Didn't know what to expect but have been pleasantly surprised by it. Since I needed a new alarm clock I put this to work as that. By saying "Hey Google" I can set, snooze, and stop alarms so easily. I have integrated it with my wink home automation system, so "Hey Google turn on the Living room lights" just works!. Sound is decent, way better than my old alarm clock. Being able to play from my phone via bluetooth, or by saying "Hey Google play pandora" is very very cool.

I received several of these for free with purchase and they were cute little things at the holiday season. Once I got acclimated to using them though, I needed one a bit more functional. This one is a great one for a newbie. It is super easy to set up and is very user friendly. The sound quality is also nice. It just didn’t fit my decor or serve all of my needs that I need it for. But it’s a good product. I liked it. It was easier to set up than Sony.

I have my LIFX lights connected to it these are the only light I recommend to use with any of these devices they are so easy to connect you don't need a Hub station. This thing its great Ask Google to play Music it plays Turn on your light it does. Was an easy set too about 5 mints to install and get it up and running. I hope this product doesn't go away I got it on clearance. I hope they decided to bring another version back.. I would get one and recommend it too I think its better than the name brand version too.

The dual firing speaker is pretty good, as is the Google home integration. The sound is louder and clearer than Google Home Mini, and the volume can be more finely controlled. Drawbacks are lack of advanced Google Home features like calling. the display (and the back indicator light) being a bit too bright to use as a night clock (for me at least), and the lack of temperature display (the manual includes it, but it's not available on the device.)

I was originally looking for a white noise machine when I purchased this. It’s a bit more basic than the higher end models with Google assistant but for the price, it’s worth it. I got it during the deal of the day. It’s easy to connect to and works for a variety of things. I like how you can program it to do multiple things with just one command. I read on a few reviews that it’s not loud but I can hear it crisp and clear throughout my entire home. It even picks up my voice when I’m in another room. Good deal overall.

At sale price (20 to 30$) this is a great replacement to google own mini speaker. the clock adds an extra funcionality that is really usefull. You can also pair 2 of these in stereo mode for better sound and the google integration is good not a lot of features are missing. On the downside the clock wont work if your internet is down.

I love IA devices, and I have come to feel that Google Home has done it best. So when I saw this at $25.00 I thought why not try it. I can have another speaker and one more device in my audio setup! So let me say this, you don't by this (or any of the smaller Google Homes) for it sound quality. However I did expect a little more. The Google Home Mini sounds better. It is a Google Home Device. I have learn when 3rd parties make Google Home Devices, something is always missing. With this one. The ability to make calls. Not sure why? But you can't make a call on this device. You would think it would be added by way of an update. But so far now such update. Other than that, it's a bigger Google Home Mini. And not to be compared to the Google Home because of it's size. Oh and it has a clock on the front of it. So maybe it can save you from saying "Hey Google What time is it". I'm going to give it to a less techy friend, I am sure they are going to love it. They don't have anything to compare it to. One other thing you might want to be aware of. Best Buy has two of these. They look just the same. However one is larger (maybe it should be compared to the Google Home). This is the smaller of the two.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sound this puts out. It sounds really good with a broad range with deep, full bass. I love having the Google Assistant on my nightstand so I can turn my lights off and my fan on with a voice command. I have TP-Link switches installed and it works great with them. I bought two of these speakers and created a speaker group so I can play my music in two rooms at once. Very happy with the purchase. I don’t know if I would pay full price for them, but I got a great deal when they were on a $25 sale.

For the price I paid, this little speaker can do so much. It's a powerful bluetooth speaker, but also a great Google assistant! I can ask it to do almost anything and get the answer I need. Even my 85 year old father loves to use it to ask questions about things he doesn't know. Does more than the least expensive Google branded speaker...better sound, clock and temp display and more controls. Requires a smart phone with Google Home app, so beware if you are trying to buy to use without that. Otherwise I love it!

Works well with Google Assistant most times. Sometimes it struggles with alarm commands, but that is a Google problem, not the device's. Volume is easy to adjust with verbal commands. I'm able to turn off lights anywhere in the house. Small, so it does not take up a lot of space. Sound quality for music is OK. Expected for the type and size of the device. Do wish the screen LEDs were a little brighter.

The speaker is great! The google assistant feature make this product a great addition for a smart home setup at a very good price.

I have Alexa and echo. I use each for their better uses. I.e. Alexa control over tv with harmony, Wi-Fi plugs. Echo for my music plugged into sound bar. Alexa doesn't have plug for speaker. Insignia we use for google (works great) and alarm clock. I like saying "Ok Google". I'm use to it from my phone. Never got into all the learn stuff with Alexa. I just what to ask a question and get answer. It seems like with Alexa which is great for some stuff. But getting into quick questions it misses the mark. Plus, Great price.

Put this little alarm clock on my bed side table works like a charm I can even tell my Nvidia Shield tv what to play from it.

This speaker is pretty decent. It's got a nice compact shape and size. The display is easily read and you can adjust the brightness Big fan of Insignia products and this doesn't let me down. on it which is good if you're putting it in a bedroom. The sound quality is a little muddy, but overall it produces a nice volume. You can't expect miracles out of a single tiny speaker. I'd say that the volume on this is superior to that of the Google Home mini and on par with that of the Google Home.
