This speaker is pretty decent. It's got a nice compact shape and size. The display is easily read and you can adjust the brightness Big fan of Insignia products and this doesn't let me down. on it which is good if you're putting it in a bedroom. The sound quality is a little muddy, but overall it produces a nice volume. You can't expect miracles out of a single tiny speaker. I'd say that the volume on this is superior to that of the Google Home mini and on par with that of the Google Home.

The best $20 I have spent ever! I believe they're 25 now, still worth it though. I bought one, I've always been skeptical of this brand, however I have been pleasantly surprised. I own a regular size Google home, and I would compare this speaker to that one in size and sound. Quality is good. I ended up buying two more, so now I have four in my home now use them everyday to stream music in each room that I'm normally in. They work excellent, I've had no issues with him at all.

Great sound and time display is bonus for a google device. Two negative observations however 1) it's a google device and IMO Alexa is smarter. 2) the temperature display is not on for longer period of time. Those are minor observations from my standpoint and do not detract more than one point on the rating scale. It will be interesting to see how much google evolves and if this device keeps up.

Surprisingly good, and when on sale it is a much better value than the official Google Home Mini. Sound quality is good and you can cast to it in the same way that you use a Google Home Mini. Great to use as a timer, an alarm, or to control smart home fixtures. This is way better than the Home Mini but not quite as good as the regular Google Home. An absolute steal when they were on sale for <$30 during Black Friday (in limited quantities) but I would still be willing to pay at least $50 for them.

First let me say I only paid 24.99 for this. Next, I did not have the problems with the time that many talk about. You set it up with the Google Home app and honestly, Google Home found it quicker than it did my Chrome Cast and my AirTv. It was also easier to setup than the Chrome Cast and AirTv. It was fast and simple. Now I don't use it a lot but we played with it the first couple of days and one of the biggest surprises is that a friend of mine has a daughter that we can barely understand and the Insignia did perfect with her. I believe she's 5 and she has to go to speech classes. I don't know all the commands as I never use the assistant on my phone and really just bought this because of the price but I can see it being useful. When I looked at competitors the price difference even if you paid full price is huge and honestly this clock slash assistant if pretty good and when you ask for something she ( I have the woman voice on mine ) can't do she will say that that may come in a future update. I haven't used the alarm since my phone is set for that and she is in the dining room which is adjacent to the living room. She can hear quite nicely even though when in the living room you are maybe 15 ft at the closest to her. She is very clear and music sounds great, loud and clear from her speaker. I have an Onkyo entertainment center and know she doesn't sound better than that but is a decent replacement when all you have to do is speak and tell her what to play as apposed to turning on the receiver, choosing what function you want to use, you get the point. She will read to you, tell you jokes, tell you sports news, again, I like it and I'm not one that usually would use these types of gadgets so I'll just say get one, and you'll be happy you didn't pay the 80 plus dollars and when I say plus these things get well over 100. 5 stars Insignia.

Easy set up BluTooth sounds great! Does not take up a lot of space small & compact !

I have both the Google Home and the Google Mini and now just picked up the Insignia Google Assistant Speaker. This is a great addition to our bedroom. I love that it has a clock on it. Wish the Google versions did as well. The sound is decent for music in a bedroom. Especially for the price. It is a bit of a bummer that you can't place calls with it like you can the Google versions, but otherwise it seems to do everything else that the other versions can do... i.e. turn on/off lights, etc.

This is a great speaker. The sound is incredible and it’s very easy to set up. Google assistant is very helpful.

The speaker has great sound quality for it's size, very surprised. The size is much smaller than the model with a built in battery. The only thing is the "not updated" software, and it cannot make phone calls like other google assistant device. Also, at volume above 70%, it can no longer hear your voice, and you need to get really close to the speaker to give any voice commands.

Good sound quality. Easy to set alarm. Good size for nightstand. Would buy again.

Hey Google.... Mom loves you! Mom has major health issues and spends a lot of time in her room. This Insignia smart bluetooth speaker and alarm clock has helped bring music back into her world. She is much happier and singing all the time. She has told all her senior friends and they are now purchasing their own. I had to subscribe to a music service so Mom could listen to the exact song/artist requested. It is well worth the $10.00 a month to hear her say...."Hey Google!"

I caught this on a great sale. I had just purchased a Google Home Mini a couple of weeks before and like it a little better than Alexa, so when the Insignia Voice came up at a lower price I jumped on it. The Insignia's sound was much better, and it has a built in alarm clock as well. I was able to play music and shout out my preferences and control volume from the shower - awesome.

We have a few Amazon Devices, and decided to give this Insignia device a try since it comes with Google Assistant. The voice recognition is great (better than Amazon in some cases) and we love that it has a clock display. The kids use it to see what time it is as they sometimes get up in the middle of the night and wonder if its just still dark out or if it is 4AM. The sound quality is great given the small size. We would definitely purchase this speaker again!

Caught these on sale two for $50 bought one for my bedroom, one for the living room, setup was pretty easy and they respond pretty good, setting an alarm is easy, say goodnight google and it will ask to set an alarm and either give you the background nice or crickets or ocean waves, very soothing.. If they go on sale again, I might have to get more for my adult kids for Christmas

I found this item thru Deal of the Day. I already have Alexa at home, so I decided that at $25 apiece what do I got to lose? Setup is so easy using Google Home. Sound is clear and crisp. Essentially I got a smart speaker with more capabilities than the Echo but even cheaper than the Dot. After I figured it out, I believe I got around 10 of these to give away as gifts. I also have them all around the house so I can listen to music and news at a whim.

I returned my Google Home and purchased this instead and happy I did. You get more for your money. Alarm Clock works with no issues and so does the Google Assistant. Only issue is that it responds to random this on my TV, which is VERY annoying... I don't think the instructions cover this, but if you want to snooze the alarm, just touch the top of the Alarm Clark. It snoozes it for 10 minutes. I don't know if you can change this to a longer duration...

I got this on sale for a great price so can't be too critical but overall this is a good speaker to use in the bathroom or kitchen for music or the occasional podcast. Actually has decent sound - not tinny like most speakers this size. Bonus that it incorporates Google Assistant too! I also like that I can connect either via WiFi or Bluetooth depending on my source.

This is more than sufficient for our family needs as a google assistant and blue tooth speaker we have sitting in the corner of the family room. We use the speaker to occasionally stream music and we all use the Google assistant to ask questions and follow our family calendar. We also like having a clock visible in this location too. All in all a good combination of BT speaker and Google.
