Bought a couple on sale (deal of day $5 each) for kids to plug in iPod touch to charge and like the color 'coding' (purple, blue, green, etc) so each girl can keep track of her own. Cons: sticks out a bit more than other plugs so hard to fit behind furniture or in tight spaces.

Great pick and not expensive. The color does glow when in use which is great for me to organize specifically which device I use it for. My example: I bought blue to use strictly for charging our PlayStation 4 controller. (Switching cables and plugs to multiple devices seems to always lessen the life of our cables/plugs too soon.) However, it has the ease of being used for different devices if desired. This does charge our controller incredibly quick.

This product is neat because the USB port lights up when you plug in a usb cord. That and the fact that this does its job the way its supposed to is why i think this is worth getting.

Charges my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 better than theirs in my opinion, and it's PURPLE! That alone is awesome! Got the car charger to match as well. Very pleased with this Insignia purchase!

I bought these for my grandchildren with the matching colored cord. They worked great...and the light comes on while charging - and goes off once it is charged. They loved them

Wall charger works great and best of all fit in your pocket. Good for travel when ever you need a charge.

Had packing failure it seemed so stopped by the local Best Buy for some charger needs. This item was fairly compact and I liked the idea of a light letting me know it was working.

There are various colors available. We prefer to charge our ps4 controller via usb and plugged into an outlet due to convenience. We chose blue to match and remind us that it's for that device. With the official Sony cable attached, it works great. We had problems prior with regular usb cords (insignia) they stopped working after a month or so. We found the cord attached to this insignia plug works well if you have the proper brand cable for what device you're charging. But the slight color glow it's pretty neat! (Still questioning the reliability of insignia brand however) time will tell again.

Needed a power supply for a Raspberry Pi. Happened to see this when at BestBuy and figured it couldn't hurt to try it for the price. Provides enough current to get the job done.

Nice that this USB charger only takes one narrow slot and not like the Apple Cube which is such a waste of space. Works great! Plus, it's purple and white so very cool.

Bought this for my kids to charge their iPad. The color coding allows them to see who the charger belongs to. Recommend purchase of same color cord if buying multiples.

Bought this to replace the wall charger that came with my Moto X phone. Works exactly as expected, and it glows slightly in the dark. Only drawback is the unit is wider than my original, which causes it to block adjacent horizontal outlets in a multi-gang outlet. But that's not a problem in a standard vertically-aligned two outlet wall plug.

Love the USB wall charger. Works with all my different USB cables and puts out a fast charge.

Was there (rushing!!) to pick up an online Christmas Order for my son, turned around and saw this on sale so I grabbed it. Can never have too many chargers! Works great!

Good product, reasonably priced. Using it as a plug for the magic jack pro, you have to buy a new one every year, the heat from the magic jack tears them up after a while. But the savings is worth buying one of these every year. I bought this at my local best buy store. I brought my old one and showed it to the store salesperson, he worked in the computer section, and told me they did not carry them, but it's such a basic item, I knew they had to have one. I found it on my own in the phone accessories aisle, so if you go looking for it, try there first.
