Easy to install last a long time.Would recommend buying it again.

this is a off brand filter that seems to be working fine for our water and ice dispenser!

I usually purchase the big namebrand filter for my fridge but decided to take a chance and try this one for a change. So far---so good...the ice and the water taste just as good as with the other namebrand filter and the good part is, it's much less expensive.

Working well for the past few weeks. No issues at all.

The only change to be aware of, and it is minor, is the filter's water capacity is about 20% less than the manufacturers product. However, the only time you will notice is when you have a number of persons pulling water at the same time.

This filter screws into the water input line of our refrigerator. I don't know how but it enhances the flavor of our tap water out of the refrigerator. The cost at Best Buy is substantially less than what we have been paying elsewhere.

This filter is working fine in my GE refrigerator. The water tastes the same as it does with the GE fi!ter that costs $50 plus tax. I hope it is filtering the water like it should. I would buy this filter again.

I have read some reviews before purchasing. Now I understand why people say the taste is different comparing to the GE genuine one. But the taste of this is also good for me. Worth it to save some $$.

Exactly the same for 12 bucks as a factory $59 filter. I bought several, and just change out about every 3-4 months, and there is NO difference between this and the factory except the $$

I need to reorder it . Does the job at a lower cost. However, the installation instructions guided me to turn it the wrong way. Counterclockwise is the correct way.

The filter is compatible to a GE brand, yet twenty dollars cheaper. The quality of filtration is similar and I plan to continue buying this product until GE lowers their price. Be advised that The installation instructions are backwards in reference to the turning directions.

Have water snobs in the house, no complaints in this cheaper Beat Buy version or the over priced GE MWF version.

The Best Buy Insignia brand comes in at a lower price than a GE filter but it works just as good for a fraction of the price.

This is a good, cheaper alternative to the official filter. I haven't noticed a difference in taste, either, so I'll probably continue to get these instead of the official filter.

I have been hesitate to buy third party water filter. Since the material is just the same, might as well give it a shot. It turns out that the taste and I would assume the quality is just the same as the original GE filter only at a fraction of the price. The only problem I'm complaining is at the beginning of the water filter installation, there is air pocket which lead to water pumping out with stuttering. After couple days of usage, it's back to normal.

These items can vary in price from $25 to $50 so why pay huge amounts for a branded option when this item produces the goods for half the price.
