Was not that easy to find in store, but an associate looked up my original purchase online and found that this is what is needed.

Tried a home depot filter, was like drinking mineral water so we checked with best buy. We had no idea they had an insignia brand of filters. It worked. Period. Oh and saving on filters with the my best buy program is a nice perk! We won't buy filters anywhere else going forward.

The taste from the water was fine. The problem was the horrible flow rate. This thing says it's the same as the official LG one, but it sure didn't perform like that in reality. When it was new it had about the same flow as a 5-6 month old LG filter. So by the time it was ready to be changed out, it was like watching paint dry waiting for your glass to fill up. Won't make that mistake again.
