You need filters for your frig. Makes sense to buy Best Buy brand. They work just as well and you get two that will last you a year!

Can get this installed easily. As I don't use ice/water frequently would like system to know usage history versus calendar dates.

I was weighing on buying the branded compare to this product. It is significantly cheaper than the branded one. I was expecting it would do the same job as the branded product however the water tastes very different. It hardly feels like it was coming from filter.

Just got the 2fer pack of water filters. The filter fits great, but I am unsure if the filtration as of yet (Update coming later). The price for a 2fer is the price of just one by the original brand. We shall see in a couple of weeks.

The replacement filter was easy to install. The activation process was not obvious but once determined it was painless.

I normally purchase the Samsung model of the same product, however, the Insignia brand does the same job and is cheaper.

In purchasing a new water filter, I went with the generic brand because it turned out to be two for the price of one.

I wish I actually purchased the samsung brand. I just hope nothing happens as I read in Samsung book, after I purchased, that 3rd party brands are not good. The box did say that it was made to fit Samsung. Hope nothing happens.
