They don't fit correctly and allow air into the pumping system. Not only does the fridge make a terrible noise while trying to fill water glasses, but there is also an air leak. This will ruin your pump system. Stick to the factory Samsung model. As soon as I switch, no more noise and no more issues.

Caused loud grinding noise

Turns out it was this filter. When it was replaced with genuine Samsung filter, no more grinding noise. Won't buy this filter again or a Samsung refrigerator.

I bought these as they are supposed to be the replacement filter for my Samsung fridge. Evidently, Samsung changed the filter housing and the filter has been modified to fit the NEW models and no longer fits an older Samsung fridge. The part number on the filter has not been changed, so I cannot tell if the filter fits the old fridge or the newer ones just by trying to order something via part number!!! VERY FRUSTRATING!! I had to purchase these to find out they don't fit. Needless to say, my filter light has been on for months and I have no idea where to find a filter to fit my fridge that's maybe 10 years old. The salesperson at best Buy tried to do some investigating, but no help in the end. That's How I found out the filter housing had been revamped.
