For whatever reason it was extremely hard to get in and then it shifted the little + connector inside the housing. Now it no longer lines up or work with any filters. Not very happy that It broke my filter housing. Only being the OEM filter from samsung

I think it because there is not enough flow through the filter. I removed and installed and it worked for a few hours but then it started to make noise again. This never happened with original equipment. Would not buy again, it might be to late to return.

My fridge is the one with the LCD touch screen and is a french door version, yet it wouldn't work. Water just wouldn't flow into filter. I then read on little sheet it says to soak filter before placing it. So I did for hours and still nothing. Bought a Samsung one and immediately filled filter and worked. Was hoping for a cheaper alternative, but $100 per year on filters is not so bad in the end.
