It says on the package that it does not filter out beneficial minerals from the water, which might be why it tastes better. The Samsung filter made the water taste too pure.

Solid Alternative To Name Brand

Best Buy was out of the Samsung brand and I decided to give this one a shot. Good Choice. I don't notice any difference between the two other than the Insignia is $20 less! I'll gladly buy this one again.

Saw that Best Buy sells these under their generic brand. Works as well as the originals if not better. Seems to last a little longer than the Samsung filters. Could be me though.

It is a very good alternative to the Samsung brand filters. I bought these to try them out as I could get the 2-pk for the same prince as the single Samsung brand. I have always used the Samsung brand but couldn't pass up the deal of two for the price of one.

Works well but leaked in the beginning
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked that for the price i was able to buy 2 filters for the price of one samsung filter. however i had to clean up water and had to hope that the leak would stop once the water was used in the dispenser. took about a day and then stopped other than that it works well and there is no funny odor or taste in the water.
