    This was our second time to buy the Insignia water filters for our LG refrigerator. As far as we can tell, they work just as well as the original LG filters that cost about twice as much. Both brands DEFINITELY filter our water, improving the taste compared to water from the tap.

    We were directed towards this brand since the LG brand was not available in the store. I don't know if it is the wrong filter for our refrigerator or defective since it leaks. We will be bringing it back to the store for an exchange for the correct filter or a refund.

    Love how the keep things in the computer. Needed a water filter but didn't know what one. They looked up are refrigerator in the computer and let use know.

    It fits in my fridge, it works normally. I ran a lot of water through the dispenser to flush out any weird taste, but it still took a couple more days of use for the plasticy taste to fully go away.
