I always had to run several gallons just to remove trapped air in the filter. But after a day or so, it would leak again. There are only 2 persons in our household and we don't consume more than 2 gallons a day. The package came with 2 filters and we're already using the second one. Hope that holds up better.

My icemaker has not worked since I installed these

I received and installed a new one and my ice maker stopped working. It was suggested to try another which I did an it still does not work. Won't purchase again.
