I bought this to have a speaker to use in my motorhome at campgrounds. There are a number of speakers available for a LOT more money that are louder and have better bass - but - this one is perfect for my needs. I didn't want anything overly bassy or that was super loud. After using this over the last 3 weeks on a long trip, it is great. I've never run out of volume and the battery has never run down even after several hours of use. For the $20 I paid, this was a bargain. At $50, it would still be a bargain! If you want a concert hall, look elsewhere. If you want to enjoy a glass of whiskey and a cigar with nice music, this may be just what you need!

I bought a blue and a red one of these. Both work just fine; the sound is nice and clear from at least 15 feet away, volume is loud enough to hear in my son's bedroom (and, down the hall). It connects easily via Bluetooth. I wish there was a better way to tell the charge level. The bass is not all that great (of course, this is a small, inexpensive speaker; I realize that). It does have adequate bass for a kid's room or small, enclosed space. It can stand on end or flat, which it nice. Overall, a good purchase. I would recommend this over any that I tested in its price range.

I luckily paid $10 on sale but for $40 it’s still a great speaker . I mainly use it for podcasts but once in awhile I’ll play music . Clear and perfect for podcasts for music it’s good . It can get loud again for a quiet living room . I try to prop it against a wall facing my direction so the sound doesn’t get lost . The only reason I gave it a 4 star cause of the somewhat lack of bass . It’s there but dont expect to have your windows shaking . Great portable speaker for chores around the house . Stand it vertical or horizontal. Bluetooth and Aux port with quick connectivity.

After my iHome bluetooth speaker died (after being dropped one too many times) I saw this one on sale. Reviews were good so took a chance. So glad I did. Great speaker sound. Easy to pair to mobile and tablet. Volume can turned up pretty loud with no distortion. Can stand on end or lay down on the little feet. Lasts a long time on a charge. Thinking about buying another one for the garage. Would definitely recommend.

I've had a variety of Bluetooth speakers over the years, including several different Insignia brand models. My personal favorite of all my Bluetooth speakers is my Insignia Brick 2's. I figured I would checkout the Insignia Wave 2 to see if it was just a less expensive version of the Brick 2. I knew it didn't have the same rugged/waterproof design as the Brick 2, and I also knew it didn't have the same battery life as the Brick 2. I was hoping it had the same internal speakers as the Brick 2. It doesn't. The sound quality of the Wave 2 is good and ultimately serviceable for listening to music and other purposes (I use one as a "soundbar" connected via the 3.5mm jack to a small tv on my nightstand). There's not a lot of bass, and the sound overall isn't as full to me as other Bluetooth speakers in the Wave 2's regular price price range. Here's the catch though, the sale price makes the Wave 2 well worth purchasing because it then outperforms many other Bluetooth speakers whose regular price is in the Wave 2's sale price price range. One of the other benefits of Insignia products, is that Best Buy honors the one-year manufacturer's warranty in-store since Insignia is Best Buy's store brand. That's a huge bonus to me. Overall the Wave 2 is a good speaker for the sale price. I'll continue to use the Wave 2 because I got them (bought 2) for such a good price, but I won't consider the Wave 2's to be my best or go-to Bluetooth speakers for anything other than personal use at home or in the office (i.e. I would use my Brick 2 or one of my other Bluetooth speakers for playing audio for others or away from home or the office). I would consider buying the Wave 2 again on sale and giving them out as gifts. One minor annoyance is that the flashing blue/red light on the Wave 2 is on the front of the speaker. I covered this up with a small piece of electrical tape to block the flashing light out because the flashing is a huge distraction when using it as the soundbar when watching tv. I do like the location placement of the 4 buttons on the Wave 2 compared to the Brick 2 because the Wave 2's buttons are easier to access being that they're on the side of the speaker compared to being on the back of the Brick 2. Really happy with this wireless speaker and especially with the price. I waited until it went on sale, as I was reviewing wireless speakers and saw how many thought this was a good deal. Being skeptical, still wasn't sure but thought the price was good enough to merit the purchase. I love this speaker. Easy to set up, and the sound is just what I wanted. I have found it is best if you use it in a smaller room, and put it in a corner. The sound can reverberate off the walls. Often one doesn't expect much from a small wireless speaker, but this far exceeds expectations for me.

I bought the speaker when it was on sale. So for the price it is great quality. It has decent sound quality although there is some slight distortion at the maximum volume. It has not affected my enjoyment of the device since I do not use it at max volume. It is perfectly loud enough without maxing the volume. It connects easily to Bluetooth & maintains the connection, it is extremely user friendly, can be used either vertically or horizontally & has rubber feet to support either position. Overall it was a good purchase & I’ve been happy with it.

For such a small speaker, this has a really nice sound. I got this to use with streaming apps on my phone in the car, and it's pretty much perfect for that. It is a good volume for that specific use, and it sounds nice. The battery life is pretty impressive, but the charger can be used in the car, too, of course. The only drawback to THAT is that the cord is really short, so you may have to get creative on where you place it to use it while charging. No real complaints otherwise!

Sometimes it sounds pretty good, depending what you use it with, and what you play on it. But even at $15 or less, it's hard to say if it could be worthwhile. While Bluetooth paired with Apple TV, it sounded almost as good as a JBL Flip 4, but there was an audio/visual lag where the audio was nearly a whole second delayed. It sounded horrible while Bluetooth paired with a Dell PC, but sounds fine when using an aux cord. It sounds fine if the volume's high enough, but it can't be very low or else it sounds like choppy static and the sound turning on and off, like bad radio reception. That aside, this speaker is fantastic. Sound quality isn't super great like a Bose speaker BUT, it's very portable, can stand up or sit on its side. Works great for if you like to shower and listen to music (not waterproof so don't go putting it in water). Also I've owned this for over a year and have maybe had to charge it a couple to a few times. I don't remember the last time I charged it tbh. I don't use it every day but often. When off, the battery holds it's charge. Connects promptly when turned on. Wished it had a next button and responded better to my phone's volume input.

Item came damaged. Looked like a return but not advertised on website as such when purchased. Customer Service was helpful and gave me options to return/exchange. I just kept the device as the physical damage wasn’t major and didn’t cause any performance issues (small dent on speaker grill). Performance wise, the device it pretty good. Loud enough to enjoy music in fairly noisy environments and in quiet ones, this device can be a little too loud. At high levels, this speaker doesn’t lose quality sound or start having vibration noises or any distortion that i have encountered. This device is very portable and holds a charge fairly well. I haven’t tested making calls with it but I am sure it isn’t a great experience at this price point. The blue color is nice wish I would have gotten the red though! I would recommend if you can get it sub$20 on sale like I did! After almost two years of minimal use it has held up and works great

Pros - versatile positioning either horizontally or vertically; good sound quality; lasts for hours; easy set up and use; inexpensive Cons; doesn't have a port to charge other devices I wasn't expecting audiophile quality but this has good tone and volume. It was on sale and a perfect fit for what I needed.

Bought this to pair with a smarthome speaker so I could put it on my balcony to have some music while enjoying the view and drinks. It does the job great. Also have taken it on trips for the hotel room and it's light enough not to weigh my luggage down. Pretty good sound for the price I paid. Haven't used for videos, so I've not experienced the latency issues others are referring to.

This speaker is great! I got it on sale as the price point at that time was good. Easy to connect to my phone's Bluetooth. Volume gets loud. The fact that it is small is great. It makes it easier to carry around. Definitely recommend!

Bought it for my 10 year old son for Christmas and he loves it! Battery will last for over 5 hours and the sound is pretty strong considering the size of the speaker. Very easy to use and a perfect size to carry in a travel bag!

If you're looking for some basic speakers to throw in your work office or keep inside of your room, these are a great value. The loudness is pretty good I have a 15 ft / 20 ft office and the speaker noise fills the office up easily. The battery life on this is also decent I could get maybe 17 hours of playtime at the maximum volume before the speakers need to charge. They are also easy to connect via Bluetooth which is a plus but I personally only use these speakers mostly for my computer in my work office so it sucks that it doesn't come with an auxiliary cord.

I needed a few bluetooth speakers for Christmas gifts this year. On black friday these bad boys were $9.00 Each. So i did buy several of this in different colors and tested one out for a sound check. The sound isnt as sharp and clear as a $100 JBL Speaker but, is is much better than something you'd find on amazon for $10. There is not very much bass from this speaker but it is quality built and feels quality. The speaker produces a very loud Max Volume and a 6.5/10 sound clarity. If this is going to be for a small child or an elder or i would highly recommend. You get what you paid for.

This Bluetooth is compact but powerfull and one charge, play upto 10 hours continuous music. Easy to connect via Bluetooth and casting tooo Also easy to connect via phone for callings

I bought this speaker 3 times for white elephant exchanges. It's easy to use, lasts a long time, and comes in great colors. It also sounds great. I would definitely buy again.

This works just fine for me...I can use it anywhere, at any time...holds a charge for a reasonable amount of time...the sound is very good....very inexpensive, as well...

This little speaker packs a great sound at a reasonable price. The speaker is on sale often as I purchased it for $10. Easy to pair with your devices and fills a room. Great buy.
