Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought these as christmas gifts for traveling along with the sylvania 10.1"portable DVD players for each of our daughters. They like to link their headphones together (one to the other, then one to the device) to watch a show together, or the option of watching separately. This way the kids can watch shows without us having to listen. We only use these for long traveling trips, so many about 3 times so far on long journeys - now, it is June (six months later) and we unpacked these from storage and now one of the cords has shredded near the port. We will go ahead and by a replacement cord - but wish the cord had been more durable. I would recommend to anyone buying these that they reinforce the cord near the jack - we have now added colorful duct tape to reinforce - may not be the best option, but it's what we had on hand.
