Battery last around 8 hours continuous playtime. I've accidentally left them on and connected overnight and still had a few hours left on the charge. Charges to full in about 1 hour and has decent sound. Note that the shape of the ear pieces is very similar to the Apple EarPods, and if your ears don't like those, they won't like these. My only gripe is that, after a year mind you, the cable insulation has started breaking. The wires themselves are fine and this does not affect function, it just looks a little cruddy. I've corrected this by wrapping the wire in electrical tape. Not only would I recommend this to a friend, I HAVE recommended it to two friends, one of whom uses it daily without complaints. You can occasionally find these in store for under $30, and at that price they're a phenomenal deal.
