Doller a day Junk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had it less than 30days and the mouse just died. Didn't drop it or abuse it. Didn't spill anything on it. It just stopped working. I even changed the battery. Nothing. When the sales guy says "Um, a lot of people buy this one." That doesn't mean it's a good one. I won't buy anything Insignia again.

Great price, but not long lasting
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price point is great, however some of the keys randomly stopped working. I have only had this keyboard for a little over a week. I have this on a computer that is not used often, which is frustrating that some keys aren't working. I will be returning this item.

Disappointed in the keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse works great. The keyboard does not! Had it for a month at most and suddenly my: C, V, M and J keys, do not respond to touch. I have to push down extremely hard to get any of those letters to work. I removed the key and pushed on the little rubber piece inside with a pencil eraser and it responds with the lightest touch. Then I put the keys back on and it went back to the same issue where I can’t use the letter unless I press really hard on the key. This is utterly annoying and interrupts the flow of my writing. I didn’t keep the receipt so I can’t bring it back, so I’ll just call it a lost of $15. I paid $30 for the combo but since the mouse works I feel like I lost out on half my money. Lesson learned, Insignia Keyboards, don’t last. Especially not for avid writers/typists, like myself.

Works well for basic tasks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I primarily got this for my TV so I wouldn't have to deal with using the remote to type in searches and that works fine. Outside of that, using this with computers and tablets, the input lag this has it terrible. It feels like there is a 100-150 millisecond delay which doesn't sound like much but you will notice it compared to a logitech product especially when it comes to the mouse. It just feels like it doesn't move naturally.

Decent wireless key and mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, it's a good product. What they don't tell you is the range which I tested and is about 13 to 15 feet. I needed one that extended a longer distance.

Keys don't respond properly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup: my laptop is connected to my TV, and I'm sitting on the sofa, which means I need a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. I chose this one because it has indicator lights for caps & num locks, and it's essential for me because I code a lot. There aren't many wireless keyboards with indicator lights, for which I can only wonder why... Anyway this keyboard felt good until I started playing games with it. The WASD keys don't respond properly. For example, if you hold W key, at the same time press A/D several times, and move the mouse around, after a few seconds the W key becomes unresponsive. There was even one case when I was only holding S and my character moved leftwards... I didn't test though if the problem has to do with the distance the keyboard is to the computer. However it didn't happen to another keyboard (from Microsoft) which I returned because it didn't have indicator lights, so it cannot be my problem. So in a nutshell, this keyboard is good for typing, but it can't play games that require quick keypresses and mouse movement.

The worst keyboard I have ever used. Do NOT buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse is fine, no complaints there. No particularly standout positive qualities, but it has two buttons and a scroll wheel, and they work fine. They keyboard is another story entirely. I am typing (or should I say, trying to type) this review on this keyboard right now. It regularly fails to register key presses, meaning you will get words with letters missing or no spaces between words even though you didn't make any mistakes. The keys are easy to pop off for cleaning, but it doesn't do any good. You can thoroughly clean it out and it will still barely work. Before you know it, you will have aching hands because you have to pound these keys like a typewriter in order for them to even register more than 50% of the time. I don't care if someone is giving you this keyboard for free - it's not worth the cost. Buy literally anything else!

Not so good keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keyboard is sluggish, and some of the keys, I have to press so hard, or it won't register. Mouse is very cheap feeling. I could have got lot better keyboard and mouse for the same price. I regret my decision buying this keyboard and mouse combo.

Comfort ok, but shuts down my Windows 10 Computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am happy with the comfort of the mouse and keyboard. Now however I’m hunting for its replacement because The mouse causes my computer to either “sleep” or do a full shutdown. This happens when I use the roller on the mouse for say more than 7 pages it’s predictable... but doesn’t require that many for it to occur as well. Super annoying !! Two days ago it did this about 5-7 times which is super annoying! In researching this I found it’s a known bug.

Dont waste your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is horrible. I was looking for a keyboard with a little space between the keys as I have long nails and has a problem with my last keyboard and my nails getting stuck so I figured hey for the price I could try it out but I wish I wouldn't have. I got it for work and when I was typing an email to a vendor I noticed the C, V and M keys did not work. I literally had to press down for about 20 seconds to get them to work. I instantly regretted getting that keyboard and taking the old one home for my fiance to use because I was stuck for a whole day with a keyboard with keys that didn't work. Took me forever to type emails. I would suggest spending a little extra and getting a better keyboard. I have a lot of insignia things in my home that I love even a TV but they got it all wrong with this keyboard.

Nothing but problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I have other Insignia products and did not have any problems. I have had several issues with this keyboard and mouse. First no matter how close you are to the PC, the keyboard randomly misses characters. I even tried putting the USB module on a short USB extender cable. Next the mouse can be unreliable at times. Finally I began to have random PC shut downs. Removed the wireless Insignia USB dongle and replaced with a wired USB keyboard & mouse, all the problems go away. Tried another famous wireless keyboard brand, no problems. I am beyond on the return period and stuck with it, I guess I can try to use it as a doorstop.

Beyond annoyed at mouse.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up due to cost and the fact that it only uses 1usb which is cool. First off both the mouse and keyboard feel as cheap as you would imagine. The keyboard seems to work fine on both my mac and windows 10 pc. The problem is the mouse.. any time you stop movement to do anything even for a second when you go back to the mouse it will not move unless you click something. I have duplicated this instantly on both my mac and windows 10 machine. You can not just start to move the mouse again, you are forced to click to get it to register that you want to move it. This makes no sense and so at this point I will be forced to return the product.

Worst keyboard ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first time I'm ever writing a review, but because this keyboard is so horribly awful, I feel compelled to warn others. You have to hit the keys ridiculously hard for the letters and numbers to register. When I type in passwords I actually have to watch and make sure that each digit registers and when I type emails I have to go back and correct close to half the words. I've already ordered a new keyboard from elsewhere, I just wish I had the receipt so I could return this piece of junk.
