Got this for a smart TV that it simply didn't work with (smart TV fault) but liked it enough that I kept if for use with my laptop that only has 3 USB ports.

The keyboard is not user friendly and there is a lag between the keystroke and it actually appearing on the screen, causing typos and delays. I should have stuck with the policy of not buying insignia products, however, the deal seemed to good to be true - which is what it was.

I purchased this product to connect to a Raspberry Pi 3/Linux OS a few weeks ago and have had no issues to date with it in this use case.

I played with the computer settings, the product settings, and my brain's settings. I still couldn't get it to work without a visit from the Geek Squad. I had to lug the computer, keyboard, mouse, and monitor back to the help desk four times, and no one could fix it. The Geek Squad repairman identified the likely source and fixed it.
