    Remote works fine with my canon 70d. You do have to be in front or slightly to the side of the camera for the sensor to work.

    This wireless remote can trigger the shutter on a Canon DSLR (an 80D in my case). Very useful for portraits where you are in the shot, or any other time you want to be away from the camera or minimize camera shake. The only flaw is that I wish the button was dual-stage like the shutter button on the camera.
