Does not have a timer with it and my canon does not have a remote with timer adjustment so if you want to be in the picture and use it kind of sucks. Better off buying the actual canon remote online it's about the same price. It has a timer function on it.

Should of worked fine, but my camera model was not able to use the wireless shutter remote.

Haven’t used it much but the times I did had no issues.

The Insignia™ - Wireless Remote Shutter Control for Canon works beautifully and much better than the wireless remote that came with my camera kit. It makes it easier to achieve less shake when taking photos on a tripod so my photos come out much crisper.

I was a bit reluctant to buy this Insignia brand remote shutter control for my Canon because it was so inexpensive and not a Canon brand item. It's a pretty basic remote, but after getting it home and using it with my Canon T5i, I was happy to find that it worked perfectly. Very happy.

Not sure if it’s the transmitter or camera, but it works okay when it does. When it doesn’t work, it’s frustrating. I was hoping it was going to be wireless remote, but it’s an IR remote and it needs line of sight to a sensor on the camera grip to work.

Always wanted a wireless shutter controller for my t5i. Nice product.

Took it on a photo outing with some friends. Worked pretty well, IMO. We took turns taking our group photo. One friend thought it shot a bit too fast, but as long as you're prepared for it, I think it's fine. Just play with it before you really need to use it.

Bought this remote shutter control because I didn't want to ask other people to use my camera to take a photo of us when we are on vacation. It's really very nice to be able to just set the camera up and remotely the the photo. It works very well

It works well with my camera, wish I would have got it sooner.

In a nice weather you can use it more than 20' without a problem.

Got it for my daughter and she loves the hands free shutter.

It has worked well so far for the limited needs I have for it, mainly triggering long exposures when the camera's on a tripod. I'm never far away, so distance hasn't been an issue. For the price, it's very good.

Nice to be able to use camera and be in the pictures as well. Also nice so be able to take pictures away from the camera to add helping hands to props or subjects I'm photographing.

Works perfectly with my Canon 6D. Remember to change the setting to respond to the remote. It can be found in the same setting as the self timer.
