The person I gave it too has designed and built his own solar powered system for his home. So it should not have been a problem for him.

PS when I did buy it it took 3 weeks to come in because they didn't have it and store I bought the wired connection and that works great.

The only downfall is that I lost the first one and have yet to find it. They are dark colored, so if you drop it in the woods at night during a long exposure... Well, it's probably gone for good.
