I recently added the Insta360 Premium Lens Guards for the X5 in Clear to my setup after getting the camera from Best Buy, and they’ve been a fantastic addition for protecting those delicate 360-degree lenses during my daily drives and adventures. As someone who mounts the camera on my car for recording commutes, I was worried about scratches from dust, debris, or even minor bumps. These guards snap on easily without any tools, and they stay securely in place even at highway speeds or over rough terrain. The clear material doesn’t distort the video quality at all—footage comes out just as sharp and immersive as without them. They’ve already saved my lenses from a couple of close calls, like when road grit kicked up during a rainstorm, and I didn’t notice a single mark afterward. The only slight downside is that they can attract fingerprints during installation, so I had to clean them a few times to get a perfect fit, but that’s minor compared to the protection they offer. If you’re using the X5 in active environments, these are a must-have for longevity and peace of mind—totally worth it.

Easy to install clear footage no scratches protect your camera

I know the question everyone is asking, why buy these when you can buy an extra lens for the same price. Well I will tell you why… the main reason is for those of you who like the extreme stuff. There is nothing better than knowing I have two forms of protection over my one sensor. Plus it is way easier to swap one of these out on the go than it is to change a lens. The lens is nice but with the lens guard it can be almost indestructible.

A must have accessory to protect your investment. The lens are sovunerable, that you would be remise not to buy this protection
