Love this. A little expensive but so worth it.Used this for the 1st time on my son’s bday. Captured every moment, 360 degrees of the goings-on that day.

I really wanted to like this camera. I ended up returning two units and not keeping it. The first unit had a genuine defect, it got crazy hot while it was off. 60% of the battery would drain while it was powered down (not just turning of the screen, actually powered down). Returned that one, got a replacement. No power issues on that one, however, that one could not capture GPS data no matter what I tried. I'm positive i followed the steps correctly, yet uploads to google maps failed from a lack of GPS data. I wanted this primarily to post street view photos of hikes onto google maps, and since google shut down street view studio, this camera's share functionality to google maps would be the only way to get my images on there. Ended up returning it, which is a bummer as i really found it to be a fun camera, with great quality shots. It just couldn't do what I wanted it for. If you're a streamer/influencer, you'll likely love it. If you're like me, you'll regret it.

Love the camera!! Works great on my bike. Films entire ride and then lets me go back and create content I want with very simple tools to make the whole expereince easy and less time in front of computer editing. Highly recommend!

You can get a suction mount from Amazon and use this as your Dashcam to allow you to record events from all directions. Would be best if you could set it up to record based on movement or sound so if someone came up to your car it would turn on automatically like a dash cam will.

Camera quality is not the best and for $500, It advertises 8k but that’s just the 360 bubble that’s at 8k once you edit it and export it it is not 8k at all! Well below that! It over heats! And gets hot minutes after turning it on! And the battery doesn’t last at all. This camera is for instances where you want to get a clip of a viewing angle maybe from a boat or cliff and then turn it right back off afterwards! This is not comparable to an action camera and honestly shouldn’t be priced this high. The features and modes are a gimmick and you’ll try them once or twice and then forget about them! I will be taking mines back to Best Buy today.

Works exactly like you'd want it to. There's really no better 360 camera solution for action sports. Insta360 has the best editing experience, which makes it incredibly easy to use even for the most novice of editors. Video quality is as expected from a 360 camera, maybe a bit better. There's no reason to consider any other 360 camera than the Insta360 x4.

Bought it for my son for Christmas. He loves it! He uses it when he goes to car meets and driving around. We bought the extender for it so he can secure it on the trunk.

Really amazing device. Bring it for all family travel or weekend events.
