The Insta360 X5 is a huge leap forward in 360 cameras. The 8K resolution makes a noticeable difference when reframing footage — details look sharper, and the image holds up even when zooming in during edits. FlowState stabilization does a great job keeping shots smooth, whether I’ve mounted it on a car, helmet, or just handheld while walking. Editing in the Insta360 app is straightforward, and being able to “reframe” after the fact is a creative lifesaver for action shots or real estate walkthroughs. Low-light performance is better than older models, though bright daylight is where it really shines. Battery life is decent, but I definitely recommend picking up the fast-charge hub and extras if you’re filming long sessions. Overall, the X5 feels like the most versatile camera in my kit right now. It’s compact, clever, and opens up shooting possibilities you just can’t get with a standard action cam.

The camera is outstanding quality and easy to use. The HDR works fantastic. A small note to people who may be purchasing this for real estate media, i purchased tbis camera for 3d cirtual tours and this camera is not yet supported in apps like zillow 3D or Matterport, so it wont work seamlessly like the x4 or matterport caneras. You can still use this camera to perform real estate work, but it is more complicated and requires extra steps. My own fault for not dping more research before buying it, but still plan on keeping the camera as it is a wonderful device still.

Got this camera to update my camera collection and I’m obsessed with it. It’s my new daily video camera. It’s 360, fits in my hand, can fit in a little satchel bag and can charge close to full in 20 minutes on a battery pack. This camera can literally shoot a full days worth of footage and not miss a moment. And it’s also waterproof on top of everything and has replacement lens. There’s no reason to not have one of these in your arsenal.

I have been extremely satisfied with the photos and videos I've captured since acquiring the Insta 360 x5 camera. I've always desired an action camera of this kind, and now that I possess it, I realize there is much more potential in it than I expected. I feel driven to explore and experience the world in a very meaningful manner. I'm encouraged to venture outdoors, document every moment of my life, and keep those memories for eternity. I appreciate Insta 360 for enhancing my experiences.

I highly recommend the X5! Whether I'm streaming, swimming in the pool, or letting my toddler film, this camera holds up perfectly. The photos are fantastic, and the replaceable lens guards give me total peace of mind regarding scratches. It’s durable, easy to use, and opens up so many creative possibilities. Love it!

Like the HDR Features and the better low light capabilities...not sure if much of an upgrade over my old x4 but will know soon.

Physically, it looks like previous versions (x4 and x3), besides the power button placement. But this camera packs a punch. Filming has never been so easy. Reframing and editing is actually easier with improved updates on the phone app and desktop studio. If you are willing to learn simple editing, you can be creative and create great videos for personal or even social media. Improved 8k 30 fps, buttery smooth slow motion, InstaFrame mode, and etc, I recommend this camera over the competition. This competes with other types of action cameras on the market; mainly DJI Osmo 360 and DJI Osmo Pocket 3. In conclusion, if you are an enthusiast traveler and don't want to always frame your shots, and spend time learning and editing after, this is the camera for you.

A bought GoPro’s fusion 360 many years ago. I give GoPro credit for trying but it was a bit of a flop. I took a break from 360 cameras for a number of years then finally decided to give the Insta 360x5 a try. Needless to say, I’m impressed. Very simple to use. the app is about as good as it gets. video quality is outstanding even though it’s a bit over saturated in its normal color profile. Editing is a breeze on the app and there are gobs of YouTube help videos online. It’s not quite perfect, but pretty darn close.

If you want a camera that breaks out of the typical GoPro mold, letting you capture everything around you and pick angles later, this is one of the most powerful 360 options you can buy right now at Best Buy. It’s especially strong for travel, POV adventures, and social content creation. -Weight sucks but not a deal breaker -You CAN change out the lens -I was able to record for about an hour before battery died on standard settings 4k/24fps -Editing videos on app is a breeze (once you get the hang of it) THIS WILL NOT BE A BAD PURCHASE, EITHER SAVE YOUR MONEY OR WAIT FOR A DEAL.

The photos and videos that this camera produces are second to none. I am beginning to enjoy using it. It has been a long process though. I am a real estate photographer. I purchased an Insta 360 X3. I could not get the third party app for 3D home tours to fetch the images. I took it back and got the X5. I trouble shot it with Chat GPT, a colleague and ultimately figured out on my own that you have to switch the cellular data on your phone off as well as the Insta app. Then it says "Waiting to Upload". Short story is that the images never uploaded. You have to switch the cellular data back on for the phone to upload. Then turn the cellular data back off so you can take the next shot. The camera is excellent. The user experience leaves a lot to be desired. I have shot this property twice now and now I have to call the realtor again and tell her again that I didn't know how to operate this camera. It shouldn't be this hard!

This is amazing. The raw video and audio are really good. You dont need any windmuffs or dead cats to filter the wind noise. The battery life is also exceptional. I rarely have to change the battery. Also, being able to replace a lens myself is a game changer for a 360 camera.

I saw the reviews and was skeptical at first of the quality of the nighttime shots. I was pleasantly surprised Unlike the gopro Max 360º camera that became useless after sunset, the Insta360 X5 performs incredibly well in low light.
