Best pictures and videos ever! No need to point, focus, wait for the right moment, etc. just press the button and hold it in any direction when you see something to capture and voila! Everything‘s in frame, in focus, crisp, clear and waiting for you to share. Paris and Madrid came home in perfection.

Good camera with complete case, so much better to buy 5 model not 4

This little device is amazing! I will give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that the whole thing is fragile. It accidentally fell from my pocket and the display got cracked. It is working Ok but with that announce. I really advice to buy a case to protect it

As a concert photographer and cyclist this was one of the best investments that I have made this summer.

This is not the camera you want if you’re primarily filming water sports at the beach. The lenses guard and the dive case scratch so easily. Stitching is horrific and the videos come out really bad. This is the most disappointing purchase of me this year. I am beyond disappointed with this camera in the dive case. I will never purchase another Insta product again based on this horrible experience. I wish there were some way to get a refund.

I’ve used several 360 cameras over the years, but the Insta360 X5 blows them all out of the water. The image quality is insanely sharp, and the stabilization feels like magic — seriously, it’s like having a gimbal built in. The new sensor handles low light way better than previous models, and the dynamic range is just chef’s kiss. The editing tools in the app are intuitive and powerful. The AI tracking and reframing features make it ridiculously easy to get creative shots that would be impossible with a traditional camera. And I love how easy it is to export to reels or YouTube. This is my first action camera and will definitely not be my last! The camera itself is amazing! I use it to film myself playing drums and the whole band as well. The footage is phenomenal. The editing is great a decently easy-to-use whether in the 360 Studio app on my MacBook Pro or with the app on my Galaxy S 25 Ultra and Ipad! The only cons that I have is 1. The ability to zoom. It definitely lacks performance there and could be much better! It gets grainy. 2. Been experiencing issues with getting good audio or nonexistent when capturing the audio directly out of our mixer to an Irig Stream Pro via 1/4" to RCA into the Irig rca in then out of mini din ont Irig to the camera's 3.5 mm or USB c microphone adapter. The camera keeps switching between internal and external microphone. I'll get those bugs worked out eventually. Other than that it's a killer setup and I would strongly recommend it to anyone that's in a band!! Keep the great products coming to us Insta 360!!

I’ve been using the Insta360 X5 for a while now, and it’s honestly a big step up from the X4. The 8K 360 footage looks incredibly sharp, and the new PureVideo mode finally makes low‑light shots usable. Battery life’s better, stabilization is rock solid, and even the lenses feel sturdier now that they’re replaceable. It’s not cheap, and the file sizes are massive, but for travel and adventure footage, it’s been totally worth it—I can just hit record, capture everything, and reframe the perfect angle later.

I’ve been very impressed with the Insta360 X5 and how well it performs in real-world use. The 360° capture completely changes how you shoot because you don’t have to worry about framing in the moment. I can mount it, hit record, and focus on what I’m doing, knowing I can reframe everything later without missing the shot. Video quality is sharp with good detail and natural colors, and it handles changing lighting conditions better than I expected. FlowState stabilization is excellent and produces smooth footage even when walking, driving, or filming handheld, without needing a gimbal. This makes it especially useful for travel, outdoor activities, or vehicle-mounted shots. Low-light performance is solid for an action camera, with reasonable noise control and usable clarity. The touchscreen is responsive, menus are straightforward, and the camera feels well built and durable. It has the feel of a premium product designed for regular use, not something fragile. The mobile app is one of the strongest parts of the experience. Reframing, keyframing, horizon leveling, and exporting are all easy to do and don’t require a desktop setup. The editing workflow is efficient and gives you a lot of flexibility without being overly complicated. Audio quality is also better than expected for a compact camera, especially outdoors.

I’ve used a lot of cameras on my bike, but honestly nothing has come close to the Insta360 X5. The first thing I noticed is how easy it is to just ride and not think about the camera. Since it shoots in 360, you’re capturing everything around you without having to worry about angles or repositioning it mid ride. You just focus on the road and enjoy it. The stabilization is what really surprised me. Even at higher speeds the footage comes out smooth, almost like it’s floating alongside you. And the invisible selfie stick effect makes it look like someone is filming you from behind, which is just wild when you see it back. I’ve also taken it out on night rides and it still holds up really well. You don’t lose that detail, and the footage still feels sharp and alive instead of washed out. During the day the quality is even more noticeable, you catch every lean, every reflection, every little moment that usually gets missed. It also feels solid. Between wind, vibration, and longer rides, it just keeps going without any issues. It doesn’t feel like something you have to baby, which matters when you’re actually out riding. If you ride and want to capture it the right way, this is easily one of the best setups you can have.
