I love my aircondtion wish I would of brought it sooner

After waiting over a month with one completely failed appointment, the people that finally came to install my ac unit had not seen one like mine before (GE Profile ClearView) but didn't bother to look at the installation instructions until I insisted or watch the very short installation video. Because of this it is not situated securely in the 2nd story window that it's to be used in, nor is the insulation placed properly so I cannot use it safely. As this is a safety issue you would think Best Buy would be responsive to taking care of it quickly, but this is not the case. I'm now playing yet another waiting game to be worked into their impossible scheduling system. I would not recommend using Best Buy's third party installers as they appear to be unvetted independent contractors lacking in skills and professionalism.

Install services went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

The installation of my window air conditioner was so quick. They were done in basically 15 to 20 minutes from removing my old a/c to installing the new one. Painless!

GE 12000 BTU A/C TEMPERATURE DISPLAY DOES NOT STAY ON. ALSO THE UNIT DOES NOT COOL MY LIVI G ROOM.

The first set of installers didn’t speak a word of English and accused me of not understanding them! Then they wanted to cut the plastic that goes in the window which GE said would have voided the warranty. I told them to leave my home. Then I called Best Buy and requested a call back from management about my issue and they never called. No one from Best But cared about my situation. The nice man over the phone said he would get different installers. The same company showed but 2 people who spoke English showed up and taped the plastic in place. So not only did I get two sets of incompetents bit Best Buy management can’t even call back. Such a disgrace for this company. Don’t do any business with Best But when they use a 3rd party. Trust me on this!!!

Came early, was very pleasant and knowledgeable, cleaned up afterwards.

I had an appointment today to have my new ac installed and when the 3rd party installers came they said that I would have to get a contractor to remove the old air conditioner before they would install the new one. It is a through the wall AC, which means that I would have to leave a 26 inch wide hole in my bedroom wall until they come to install it. It also means an additional charge to remove the old AC. I've had wall AC's for 55 years of my life and never had this happened before. The installers always removed the old AC and disposed of it then they would install the new one. I tried contacting customer service and they transferred me to Geek Squad, Geek Squad transferred me to delivery and delivery came me the information to corporate. The recording stated that there would be a three minute hold time. I was on the phone for 30 minutes and then I was disconnected. So I attempted to call back again twice and then same happened. Extremely disappointed. I have been a long time customer and purchased many of my appliances here.
