Installer are not quite knowledgeable when it comes to demonstrate the operation of our refrigerator family hub

The installers were not able to hook our existing copper refrigerator water line, and instead of giving propert advice to hire a plumber for what was beyond their installation know how, they gave bad do-it-youreself advice to cut the copper line and install a new thread. This bad advice has now destroyed the anti-leak mechanism of the copper line and it will not stop leaking. So now we have to hire a plumber anyway and may need to replace the whole line. These installers need better training, and I’m sure they had no ill intent, but should be giving bad DIY advice to their customers when they clearly couldn’t do the installation themselves. This is bad practice and could really inconvenience and ruin the customer satisfaction for an otherwise good product and good company. They need to be trained not to give poor advice when they don’t know what they are talking about which ends up being a huge hassle and more expensive for the customer.

Refrigerator was delivered 12/29 and left in garage because we didn’t have code to access property. Delivery was said between noon and 6 PM. Delivery person called beginning at 7:30 AM. I explained repeatedly that we were closing on the property and would not had the code Until funding had cleared. I suggest that the delivery crew go to lunch and come back as they came before 12 noon. They didn’t do it. They left the refrigerator in the garage promising they would come back the next day. They did not. Someone else came on or about January 3 to install the refrigerator. They stated that they did not have time to install the refrigerator because they would have to remove the doors. They left. I spoke with the sales person after that incident and someone finally came to install the refrigerator on January 7.

Didn't install it and will never use Best Buy again for appliances. The install team claimed after turning off the water line to the house the water line still had pressure and left the old refrigerator and new one without installing. We easily drained the little bit of water from the line, which was most likely in the line anyway without issue after they just left. The left the refrigerator both new and old in the house. Why pay for service if you don't complete the job?

Unit is noisy. GE quality has slipped some. Would look at other brands next time.

Could have done it myself, but working odd hours to come home to work on the house can be a hassle. Not bad but not great.....

The delivery team made the delivery but did not made the connection.

Delivery was fine until one guy messed up my door to to refrigarator. Waiting to get fix

Delivery was fine except they did not remove any of the packing material, plastic coating, drawer coating or Styrofoam blockers, tape on interior shelves....nothing. I had a hard time getting everything out of fridge to get all that packing off. It should have been done by the delivery team. very disappointed

I don’t even know where to begin. Do not buy appliances at Best Buy, if you do, please get it yourself. Both fridges they tried to deliver to me were dented up, had to combine parts is the fridge together to give me a good fridge. First installer refused to connect to the water line because the shut off valve was not behind the fridge but right under the floor. 2nd installer says they are crazy. Total tech kept calling my sons number to give updates when I told them 50-100 times that is the wrong number, not even a number on my account. Can’t get anyone to own their issues same day, no one will help you til next day when the order is updated to completed, regardless if you’re up and running or not. STAY AWAY!!!

Too fast.. never leveled.. runs ALL THE TIME……sometimes pings by

The workers simply placed the refrigerator, no additional service was provided

They came out and after analyzing the situation, said it couldn't be done. Very disapointing.

We had to clean inside refrigerator full of broken glass pieces

I had to buy this when i buy a new refrigerator. I hope these kind of item could be included in a refrigerator package :(

I am very dissatisfied with the installation the refrigerator is not level and the right door hits me in my arm every time I open it. I really wish the installers would’ve done their job. Now I’m still trying to figure out how to get the thing leveled

There was no waterline installation kid included in my order, the men who delivered the refrigerator simply told me I didn’t have the right connector to hook up the waterline and left with no other explanation. When I double checked my order there was a waterline kit included in my order that was subsequently canceled after the delivery of the refrigerator was made. When I called customer service to find out what it happened they informed me that they would re-order the waterline kit and send someone to install it, but it will be another 10 days. I’ve already waited almost a month for delivery of the refrigerator now I have to wait another 10 days to hook up the water line so that I can use the icemaker. This is really unacceptable customer service.

Could have easily done the same myself , already had line in place but still had to buy their lines.

Delivery was delayed 2 months. Delivery went smoothly Refrigerator is just what I wanted

New water line was mot needed as installers said. Just needed an adapter.
