Destroyed my Hardwood floors

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after the 3rd attempt ( 1st fridge was dropped off my front step on its face and smashed, 2nd fridge was damaged from warehouse) 3ed attempt and finally it arrived, i had told best buy the water connector would not fit as it was to thick and would not allow the fridge to roll back, the tube that was used leaked over night and has destroyed my kitchen hardwood floors. is this a joke, I've spent over $8000 on this kitchen laundry package and each time something is delivered they cant get it right or destroy something

Refrigerator

Delivery crew leaves disgusting trash at home

They rewarded me by leaving disgusting trash from their truck cab on my driveway right before they drove away. The store manager should follow up on this. Really nasty way to treat a long time loyal customer.

Disgraceful

Ice build up and destroyed food in fridge. Had the service come out 6 months ago but was only "leaking" at that time.

After four attempts, the fridge still hasn't been installed properly and the installer damaged my wall in the process. When I filed a damage claim, they falsely stated that it was pre-existing damage.

Poor installation

If they would’ve had correct connector for titanium (Best Buy type) to tube line this wouldn’t have happened. Left their tubing connected, Turned off my cold water line & said to call a plumber. Left refrigerator pulled out (as you see in pic). This is unsatisfactory workmanship. Best Buy Coming back to pickup the water connection line kit & I have to hire a plumber to connect

Incompetent Installation

Installers would not put cardboard down when they moved it from the wall as I recommended. Botched the water line installation. Water everywhere damaged the floor more. Had to file a claim for damages.

First horrible experience with best buy

Did not attach line to refrigerator clamp that is attached to relieve stress on line to refrigerator. Looked good then they pushed refrigerator back and broke the line attachement. We did not notice this till I went downstairs more then a day later. Guess what, ceiling on the lower floor was leaking from the refrigerator not being hooked up correctly. Today is July 14 and still nothing has been taken care of. I cut the ceiling down and that's how it looks almost 3 weeks later. Horrible job and no one cares!

Awful

No install of interior parts. No water line test. In and out. No paperwork. I have spent hours already trying to remove the plastic cleanly. This is not what we expected. Some parts also appear corroded, some panels seem distorted, and several shelves appear to be bent.

Install it your self better

When talked to Mirza (sales manager) about it. He didn't help and threatened to stop servicing me if I seek reimbursement. (Not to mention the 2 hours at store wasted)

Do not buy

They replaced it with one that had the handle was misaligned. They came out to replace it and the replacement was damaged. I got my 5th delivered and the ice came out blue/gray and there was mold in the connection tubing, Im not sure if it was Best Buy’s poor quality or ge but this was a horrible experience.

I would recommend you remove the prtective plast.

They deformed the inner seal by savagesly removing the plastic. Since they were in a hurry and didn't carefully remove it. There is a lot of little pieces left in the seems. I can not get a grip on it to remove it since the pieces are so little. Professional installation does not include leveling.

Never again, the damages were insignificant in comparison to how horrible best buy handled(?) the situation.

Great refrigerator - terrible installation

Best Buy told me they could come in TWO days. I got them to agree to reimburse me for a private plumber, who figured out that they never tightened the cap on the water line. Three weeks later, I’m still fighting with them to get the insurance adjuster to show up. If you have them do an installation, stay close, pay attention, and ask questions.

Worst delivery people I’ve ever seen and I’m 74

I was treated very badly and my house was damaged From delivery attempts. I was stressed to the point of almost having to get medical help. I finally canceled the item and went to another retailer who had no problem delivering the item. I will never purchase from Best Buy again.
