NOTE TO OTHERS: Best Buy uses an outside service to install their appliances. The company is paid per unit installed. Respect for the property (i.e., floors, surrounding cabinetry, door frames, stairs) is not well considered. Completion of the job is not guaranteed (though they claim it is), and if they don't complete it, they won't necessarily tell you it's incomplete. I ordered 4 kitchen appliances for a home we are remodeling. I took a chance on Best Buy despite the myriad of subpar reviews on installation because I needed to stay within a budget. I. WAS. FOOLISH. The installers showed up on time (the only positive in the entire fiasco). They did not install the refrigerator water line because our builders used the wrong type of hose (which hose was to be changed out but they refused to do it). They did not install the range anti-tip bracket because they told us most homeowners didn't like then (despite it being a code violation if missing), and they did not vent the microwave installed over the range (left it wide open in the cabinet above it even though our builder placed a vent in the cabinet wall for them to connect with). They did not tell us these things were incompleteThey DID, however, install the dishwasher correctly. In the process of bringing these appliances into the home, damage was done to the wood stairs and a cabinet, which was denied. It took over 4 hours of phone calls and THREE ADDITIONAL SERVICE CALLS TO THE HOUSE to move these installations forward and in the end I had to have our builder complete the installation of the microwave. The absurdity of this debacle was beyond anything we've experienced, and we flip homes so this is isn't our first rodeo. All that said, be very careful if you trust BB to install your products -- babysit the installers, take pics before and after, and be absolutely sure the installers have completed their job both correctly and to code.
