    Great Installers!

    The men that installed my fridge did a great job. It's perfectly balanced and they were careful of my house as they brought this big appliance in. They also explained some of the features. I had bought this online, so had not talked to a salesperson to learn what I needed to know.

    Can't provide service they charge for..

    I paid for a new water line to be installed. The delivery team shows up, says they can't do it, complete the delivery, and leave. Why offer a service you can't provide? I called to speak with customer support. They tell me to call back the next day for a refund because they can't help today. They also stated that the company they use in my area can't complete the install since they can't handle going in a crawl space. The website states they can do this for an additional charge which I was fine paying. Now I need to find a plumber to complete but plumbers are not available during the weekend and if they are, rates are higher. When I asked to speak with someone to file a complaint, I get transferred and have been waiting on hold for at least 15 minutes (still on hold right now). Again, why offer a service that is not available? The ability to install a new water line was the ONLY reason I purchased this item through Best Buy.

    Don't do it

    The website says you need a water line within 20 feet of the new fridge, but when they came to deliver the fridge they said they couldn't install the water line because the only way they can do it is by tapping into the sink which is on the other side of the kitchen. If I would have known this I would have gotten a cheaper fridge without a water dispenser, but now the Black Friday sales are gone so I can't swap it out. To make everything worse I called to get a refund and was on and off hold for over 45 minutes while they kept asking the same questions and I had to repeat myself over and over. Apparently the installer marked the job as complete even though they never did the water line install and now they can't get ahold of him to verify. Supposedly they are going to give me a refund but now I have to wait for them to call me back. How hard is it to make it clear what the requirements are? Not happy

    Did not perform the work, gave up and left.

    The service guys came and decided they cannot do the work, gave up, and left. They claimed they only can connect the water line to an existing shut-off valve, and will not install a new valve. The description of the service is very clear: Install - "Includes 20 feet of supply line and shut-off valve to nearest and accessible cold water supply..." Why do I need to pay $150 for the service if all they going to do is screw the hose to an existing valve and the refrigerator? I am certainly capable of do that. They were rude and seems to be in a hurry. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service. I am waiting (I hope) to get my refund. I hope the service guys will not claim they actually did the work. Bye Bye, Best Buy.

    Provided water line too short.

    Learned that we would need a longer than 6 ft water line..one of our salesmen found what we needed at a local hardware store-works perfectly!

    Excelent service and Work. The comunicación and contact with us and follow up esa very good. The hour to receive the equipment, was on time. In o eral was very good and satisfied.

    Very unprofessional team - installers / phone reps

    I usually don't write reviews but I feel obligated to write this one. I purchased over $4k worth of appliances and installation services from BestBuy and it was a nightmare for the delivery and installation. Especially the waterline installation that was supposed to be a premier offering. Two trips on 2 different days to install appliances and the water line wasn't installed because they are missing a phantom valve or part. Unprofessional customer reps were advocating two more trips to evaluate and install the water line. They ended up refunding me installation because they wouldn't reach out to the team that installed my fridge. DUMB move BestBuy

    Showed up without any tools/supplies and left

    The plumbing company BB contracted showed up without any tools and supplies for CPVC pipes we have in our house (which are very common). Said they could not do anything that day, which caused the new fridge delivery to be delayed. Trying to reschedule the installation through BB did not work as they were pushing the date too close to Holidays, and we'd already been waiting for too long since we placed the order. So, we figured since we cannot wait (or trust the plumbing company anyhow), we went ahead and scheduled just the delivery part, I went to a local HW store, bought what I needed and had the ice maker waterline installed in less than an hour by myself. How do you show up on a job site without basic tools and supplies is beyond me.

    Did Not Get What I Paid For

    I payed to have a new water connection installed for the ice maker. I have a water connection for the ice maker that was installed in 1992, but I wanted a new water valve installed because the valve will fail over time. The installer said he didn't have a new valve as a replacement and that mine would work. I told him that I had paid for a new water line installation & they said that I would be reimbursed. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. Also, they dropped one of the tempered glass shelves on the concrete driveway while unwrapping the refrigerator. Luckily it wasn't damaged.

    Nobody showed up

    After waiting for four hours, I called Best Buy and after over an hour of being on hold and getting passed around, I found out that my appointment was listed as canceled with the installation team (but not listed as canceled anywhere else), and nobody was coming. I received no phonecall, email, or SMS, and my online account still showed my original appointment time. Best Buy made we waste a whole day (a day off work). The resolution? I had to reschedule for the next available date, almost two weeks later. Barely an apology and no discount for the enormous inconvenience and personal cost of taking time off work. Horrendous customer service. I will never buy an appliance from Best Buy again.

    Bad service experience

    This was a joke.. paid to have waterline installed and connected, but the 3rd party that delivered just dropped it off. Of course this was one of the deliveries that you get a 5 hour window on and so you waste 1/2 a day and then I have to call back to have them come back out (another 5 hour window) and when he shows up all he has is the physical waterline and isnt there to hook-up or install? I finally just got a refund and paid someone else.

    Easy to setup… the sound is amazing. These speakers and subwoofer solved the sound problem we were having with our tv. Thanks

    Very Bad Experience

    Technician did not complete the installation. Said he could not do it. So my water and icemaker on my new fridge are not working. Highly disappointing. He said he could install the valve but not the new water line. I paid for installation of a new water line, not just the valve. I was able to get my money refunded but would much rather have my new refrigerator fully functional and it is not.

    Did not show up!

    Scheduled the fridge delivery and water line installation month out (earliest date available) fridge got delivered, wife took personal day for water line installation and no one showed up. Not only was there no communication when I contacted customer service they basically told me stuff happens and to be patient. There next available date to do installation was over a month out! Cancelled and went with local plumber cheaper and able to come out next week. I do not reccomend this service.

    Horrible, Horrible, Horrible Experience

    The first time they showed up they didn't have the fridge, they went back and got it with a U-Haul then after an hour said they didn't know how to do the water line. After spending hours on the phone I'm now on my 5th appointment because they simply didn't show up the other times. All I'm being told is there was a "glitch" in their system. FOUR TIMES? Ridiculous experience, I would have never gone with Best Buy had I known it would take 5 appointments (assuming they actually show up to the next one) and over two months for this!

    Dropped off and plugged into wall. Done, that will be 140.00 lol They didn’t even bother looking under sink to simply tee it off supply line. Exactly what I needed. Not an issue. SAVE time and just get a kit and do it yourself. The claim of “All new dedicated water line” basically means they will use the secret of “lefty loosey, righty tighty ” for a cool 140.00 and ONLY if there is an existing water connection next to the electrical outlet...
