instant ink was programed in my printer before I purchased it. I did not want that program, so I declined it. When I had to change the black ink it wouldn't work, repeating "error". So I had the Geek Squad come to fix it and found out that if you put an ink cartridge in with this still factory programed, even though you decline it, you have to undo the factory settings as well. It ruined the brand new ink cartridge and I had to buy another one. It was not stated in any of the documents about how to undo the instant ink program on you printer.

I was going to give this a try but upon further reading up on it, the thing that caused me to decide not to sign up is that if you decide to cancel it, there is a etf and you have to send in your printer to them???!! That is just crazy. It did not say anything about them sending out a printer to replace the one I sent in, just that I have to send it into them. Rip off!

I tried this long ago. I do not print enough to be in this program. It would be great for businesses that do.

very disappointed that I can't continue to use the ink I paid for when I cancelled my subscription and I cancelled because I was waiting too long to get replacement ink.

This is another one of those things they want to hook you into paying every month and hope you forget to cancel. Not worth the $10 credit for the risk of over paying later

Did not seem to last very long. I have used this brand before, but it seemed to run out quicker than most of the ones that I have used in the past.

The plans are ridiculous and if you cancel you subscription they lock you out of any ink that you’ve already purchased in your plan. So basically their marketing to reduce, reuse, recycle is a JOKE!

The 63 ink for a hp printer was no good at all .printing paper the Quality good no smudges and it was nice and clear.I believe it was a bad Batch of ink smd sometimes that happens.

Probably the most expensive way to buy ink cartridges for printing.

I bought these for my HP printer, but since there is malware installed, I still can't use my printer. I'm literally throwing it in the trash because they coded the program through the Internet so I could not download it so I would have to call support. This will be a repetitive cycle.

I don’t print enough to justify paying monthly for something i dont use! I had a very bad experience hp customer service too, and will never buy another hp product of any kind anymore! When this printer is done, I’ll quit buying ink for it and purchase a different brand.

I don't find this to be a good service. Tried it and found it confusing.

Very poor customer service. I would not ever recommend this service. I had it for years. The app said I had plenty of ink even when it was completely empty. They make you pay for an additional month— it’s the policy so they say but when the customer dies I think there should be some consideration I ended up paying 3 extra months after my mother’s death before they actually cancelled the service.

I was already on the program but this $10 gift certificate or whatever it is can't redeem it I don't know how to redeem it. I don't recommend using it problem is is once you use it they have control of your printer. They can stop you from printing.

HP Instant Ink is a scam. I don't want some external source dictating how and when I use ink. And it seems I was automatically registered with this plan when I purchased my HP printer. I prefer to buy ink cartridges that work without being connected to HP. The next printer I purchase will not be HP

HP instant ink was a disaster. You pay per page, whether you are printing small labels or full page photos. And when this inconsistency was brought to their attention, they scoffed.

not happy with this ink to be truthful. it seemed to run out very quickly with less then a week........:(

Too many restrictions...forced to use all HP whether it's best or not.

Instant ink may be a great deal for some but their ink is over priced and if this feature is activated you will never be able to use generic ink cartridges on your printer.
