Plastic smell & taste, not exaggerating

The chemical taste of plastic in your food does not leave. Im well over 20 uses in and that doesnt change. It almost like the componets that it was made of get hot and give of a scent of plastic as they heat which then transfers to your food, especially when left to cool. I love instapot pressure cookers so I gave this a try, i regret it. I am by no means picky but this is awful in taste...

Posted .Hello Tito. The Instant Vortex Air Fryer may have an odor the first few uses, however it should dissipate. We suggest rinsing and drying the cooking trays before using them as well as double checking that there is no tape, plastic or any other packaging material attached to the unit. To remove smells, wipe down the inside of the unit using a slightly damp cloth with water, vinegar, and baking soda. Please also dry the interior thoroughly before use. If the odor persists please reach out to our Customer Care team.

I already have 2 instant pots a 6 & 8 qt, when I started looking at air fryers I was thrilled to see Instant Pot had this model available. Other brands have reviews mentioning the non-stick surface peeling. I have not experienced those issues with this one at all. Its used 3 or 4 times a week.
