The only thing with that model is it’s not easy/safe to release pressure after done cooking. But this model has that problem solved. It’s truly quiet compared to the other models, also super easy and safe to release pressure because of the improved design. Also it is in a more beautiful light grey color which suits my kitchen better. It’s more expensive than other models but it’s worth buying.

Eliminates the geysers of steam my old model used to emit. Easy clean up--but removal of the anti-block shield does require a bit more finger strength. Be sure to read the instruction manual before attempting removal. Really like the all silver color scheme. The 6 qt size is adequate for small families.

They said it works wonderful and it is an upgrade from the mine. Which they used a lot. They have made some soups and spaghetti so far. They plan on doing a roast in the Insta Pot very soon.

Once you get the hang of using this device, it’s great. Love the custom settings for the cook time. And yes, it’s actually quite. When you use the manual pressure release, you will hear the release sound of the steam. The sauté function is what makes ot all worth it because is make the cooker a one stop shop.
