I'll edit this review after more time but first time using it and it was preheating for 45 minutes. It was on the 3rd and final preheat progress bar and then it went back to the 2nd. Had to bring out the old crockpot to make sure the meal was done on time.

I love it start using it everyday save time and energy

Insta pot didn’t work after a month. Tried ordering different parts to replace. But never worked.

Updated to this IP after using prior for years with great success. However, to be honest, this IP is a piece of junk. The pot will not seal consistently, and, it never will move from pre-heat to cooking. Called the IP support line, they are just as bad as the pot itself, all they want to do is open a repair ticket. I will title this review...APiece of Junk!

Rice was getting stuck. When smelled like burnt and did not heat up anymore.

Don’t buy this instant pot …. I used it for only a month then it burns the rice … it does not automatically stop …. I call the instapot service 2x but told me to take a pic and video …. Waste of time cuz twice I told them the problem…. Don’t buy that instant pot waste of of money….i hate it !!!!

Within 4 months of purchase, the pressure release switch started having issues — it wouldn’t close all the way. If you’re buying this pressure cooker, make sure to get a Best Buy warranty so you can claim a replacement if it stops working

Very Concerning Metallic chemical taste. I washed inner pot. I did 2 test runs before cooking some rinsed beans (newly bought) in water, with added salt and garlic powder. The cooking was completed fast. The taste was supper bitter, metallic and very chemical like. I googled to see what solution- there are multiple reviews saying the same thing, and how these taste doesnt go away. Thjs cannot be safe for human consumption, its that bad. I dont believe the 4.8 star rating anymore.

So far, I’ve loved it. Easy to follow the instuctions.

This is supposed to be an improvement from its predecessor. It is not. It is not easy to use. It is not easy to learn how to use it. The customer support is awful. They have the temerity to ask for money just to answer a simple question.

Bought this after the IP I used for years stopped working. The first time used for beans took longer than anticipated but didn’t think too much of it. Second time the unit will not heat. Garbage.

It is taking more time to cook. But quality is good

It is not working properly. All of sudden it stops and rice is not getting cooked. Not predictable on when it works correctly. I ended up buying an another one which is a different model from Amazon.

Worst purchase ever made. My previous 2 instantpots served 5 years each and this was a replacement to them. Its been more than a month trying all different options and it never cooked well with a proper setting. Now the return window is over and we already threw it.

Not working. Instructions don't help me. I had the original Hot Pot and it was way better. My husband brough this home and it's basically decoration. It doesn't seem to heat up, even though the dials and reading say that it is. Overengineered, non-functional.

When it works it’s great but we’ve had repeated issues with it not starting to cook and just sitting at preheating.

Best Buy only allows 2 week me for returns only used it once not too impressed on quickness. Wish I knew ahead of time of the two weeks and not 30days return policy. Product is massive too

I would like to recommend this pot need to have spoons inside, and small cup , otherwise all good
