I purchased this thinking I could free up counter space by getting rid of my toaster and my dehydrator because the product description claimed this could both toast and dehydrate. Two problems immediately surfaced--The first is that there are no instructions on how to use this as a toaster. The second is that when I did figure out how to use this as a toaster, the results were less than stellar. Its only use as a toaster is if one wants to convert bread into croutons. If the dehydrating function works as well as--it appears I have wasted my money for a one-trick pony. More problems--the timer can only be set in increments of one minute. So where timing depends on seconds rather than minutes--the user has to be hovering nearby. The door is flimsy. I don't expect this to last more than a year or two. All in all. When this appliance dies, I'm dumping it for a real toaster and a microwave.
