A solid gaming/productivity CPU!

My father's computer was feeling a bit dated with it's older i3 7100 cpu with it's 2 core/4 threads and I had an extra Z490 motherboard so I bought this processor for his computer upgrade. It makes a big difference to go from 2 cores up to 6 cores (4 threads up to 12 threads) and he is pleased with the "zippyness" of his new computer. If you are looking for a solid price to performance, i5's are a great option!

Decent Gaming Processor

It's a CPU

Using as a server chip since it is low power and I am not pushing the limits with it. Overall nice little chip with onboard GPU capabilities which is nice since GPU's are kind of a pain to get a hold of. I love Intel and feel this is a good overall CPU for the price.

Great midrange CPU

It has more than enough power to run multiple 4k cameras along with several linux virtual machines for my home automation software. Awesome bang for your buck and power management
