compared to the 9900k this thing runs better and cooler. i have put it in itx and matx cases. dont get more than 65c at load and running d avg 30c. runs on average at 4.7ghz upgraded from a 8700k and got a good 15fps boost on average.

I was finally able to snag one for Microcenter price, so I swung by my local Best Buy and picked this up ASAP. Threw it into my motherboard and it's been smooth sailing ever since. Stock frequency at 3.8GHz and it has no problem boosting up to 4.7 GHz. Stays nice and cool while I play games, I can't complain honestly. Definitely worth it's value as games and applications will no doubt be needing more cores to function properly in the future.

Simply put Its an amazing cpu i have 2 high end Gameing computers for both of my rooms each one has an i7-10700k. That being said both computers can run at 4.7-4.8 ghz(4700-4800mhz) all cores with no overclock Idles temps at 30-34c with 360mm A.i.O paired with a 3070/3080 i have not seen a game it doesn't dominates the 10700k and a 3070 is playing bf 2042 all ultra settings with fps at average of 90 with some dips into the 80s and sometimes pops up over 100. price to performance ratio is amazing reliability is great have never had an issue between the ones i have owned compatibility/driver/chipset support is great everything just works . Xmp 3000mhz 3200mhz 3600mhz it just works never have i once had any issues if you on the fence stop thinking about it you will not regret it especially at its current price i personally would choose this over an 11700k but the added features of a z590 and 11th gen is pretty dope aswell you cannot go wrong with ether processor.

Unbelievable performance for the price. Over locked all cores to 5.1 ghz and prime95 stable over 6 hrs. Gives computer a very quick response time, almost unbelievable. Much better for gaming than any Ryzen in this price point. Would buy again without thinking...

great card or gaming! Solid choice for building pcs

While there was nothing wrong with my i5, I wanted something that would last me longer and give me a little more kick. The i9 seemed like overkill since I'm mostly gaming on my rig. So I paired this with a 3060ti. Apex and Rocket League are my main games and I get 180+ frames easily. Also have no problem having friends Twitch streams running while I'm gaming.

I upgraded from an i5 6th gen to this and the difference is night and day.

Replaced a 4 year old 7700K. BB matched competitors price, and delivered next day. It was here so fast I had to wait for the new MB (also from BB). Beast of a CPU. Recommend a good air cooler or AIO liquid cooler to keep it running cool. CPU-Z shows idle temps for all cores at 25 - 27 C. Great purchase, would highly recommend.

Powerful. Render times are a breeze. Will run CPU intensive games when paired with a new GPU, I could imagine it would surpass even more. I have an older GTX GPU (since new ones are out of stock!!!!) and it really carries it on it's shoulders and allows me to play games at good frame rates.

What a great processor. I hadn't upgraded since 2014 and the speed differences are amazing. I have paired this with an MSI Z490 motherboard with an SSD and boot speeds are so fast. This particular processor is unlocked so using Intel's overclocking software makes it easy to push the speeds & power a little more.

I wanted a CPU for gaming as well as steaming on a single Pc and I decided on an i7 over the Ryzen 7. And I am so far very happy with my purchase. The i7 handles both gaming and streaming with ease. But be sure if you’re doing what I’m doing that you pair this with an AIO cooler it definitely helps with temps.

Well it turns out Intel wound up being a value king of 2020. AMD put out some nice CPUs but most people couldn’t get them. In steps the Intel 10 700 K when you get it for 320 or less it’s actually a decent deal over clocks fine doesn’t even really get that hot definitely a winner.

I was building my custom pc and I was having a hard time deciding between the i5-11600K and the i7-10700K. I ultimately chose the i7 because it has more cores and would be better for what I need it for. With it, I built a really solid and powerful system that is able to quickly edit videos and graphics. It boots up fast and is the most powerful computer I've had to date. The CPU works like a charm and I am happy with my choice. I also liked the fact that I was able to pick it up locally, without having to wait for it to be shipped. The only thing I don't like is what I had to pay to get it. It was significantly higher in price than the i5 despite having comparable specs and being an older CPU. I think it's possible to find it cheaper elsewhere, but I needed it right away so I basically had to pay for the convenience... not ideal but it is what it is. It's hard to get CPUs during a chip shortage after all.

Great product, fast & responsible, money well spent!, I paired this beauty with a MSI - MPG Z490 GAMING motherboard and they work flawlessly together. Mi former system had a 8th generation processor and even though it was nice, if compared to this one you can tell the difference, specially when pushed to the limit playing last generation games, which are more demanding on PC resources . Stop looking for a cheaper (budget) option, this one will last some time before you need to upgrade. Best Buy delivery?, nice as usual, arrived undamaged and before expected.

One of the best CPU's you can buy especially if you can get a really good deal on it. I was able to get mines around $250, making this worth every penny. Compared to the 11th gen, not much of a difference so you might as well buy this and save some money.

great for gaming. probably not as good for the price as a 10600k but if you get a good price for it its totaly worth it. i can tell from performence comming from a ryzen 5 3600. if you overclock i recomend seting it at 5.0 ghz for better thermals. this baby runs super hot.

This processor is very good. With 8 cores/16 threads and great clock speeds, I would recommend this CPU for gaming or streaming/editing, and it is much cheaper than the higher end 10900k which is overkill for almost any buyer.
