Exactly what I needed!

I don't live near a Microcenter, but thankfully my local Best Buy has a pretty good supply of PC parts and so I was able to hop by and pick this beauty up.

Great just under top tier cpu

Update bios!

However, I'm getting worried about whats going on regarding Intel's poor clock speed behavior with 13th and 14th gen. Make sure you update your bios because your chip will try to burn a hole through your mobo if you don't.

If you're a gamer who also uses the computer for graphic work then this is a good option, though the power draw is considerably higher.

When two of them didn't pair, service team came right out and had it working within ten minutes. Sunshine and his partner was excellent.

13th gen runs hot so get a good cooler.

NOT the hyper 212 on the shelf. Get a large air cooler or go liquid. I have a Peerless Assassin 120 and if not over clocked keeps temps at 75c on cinebench test.

The old cooler and mount could not keep up with the new processor. I do a lot of video editing

Faster than previous 12th gen Core i9-12900K

This CPU runs at a much faster base and turbo frequencies up to 5.3GHz. Also the previous i9 cost almost $200 more when it was released.
