I have never done gaming since my 1980 experiences building the Heath-kit H-89 computer and writing a pong game in basic. Looking forward now to see what todays gaming is all about. The I7 is on the motherboard and powered up. No smoke yet.

After I had purchased it articles on stability issues started popping up. They didn't really worry me especially as they were mainly surrounding the 13900/14900 i9s..But that was until I started having random crashes that have ultimately been pinpointed to the CPU. What makes it worse is..I'm stuck with it. I spent $900 on the CPU, a motherboard obviously for this specific chipset, and less importantly - RAM. There's no fix from Intel. RMA? Sure, for the same CPU with an inherent design flaw and an apparent 100% failure rate (that percentage is based on 3rd party investigators, not made up.) If I switch to an AMD CPU I'm basically out another $700. Everything minus RAM. I'm a college student, I can't afford that. At least whilst it is working, it's fast?
