I bought an Intel i7-14700k on Feb 10. I put this CPU on three different motherboards, none of the three attemps successfully boot the BIOS system. I then spend tons of time debugging the whole pc system and finally brought the cpu to professional tech guys, the results are consistent - this is a dead CPU. I brought the CPU to BEST BUY today (March 8) and asked for a refund or replacement. They rejected it since it has pasted the 2-week due. I understand that this is BEST BUY's after-service policy, but this policy is not very reasonable and should be more flexible. Debugging a pc system is very time-consuming, since there are many aspects that need to be checked and every step requires carefulness. Policies are set by human and can be changed. One star for the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I am currently on the phone having to argue to get a refund as intel seems to have knowingly put out faulty CPUs, relying on bios patches to fix them. The cpu will randomly break. Don't buy it.

Constantly crashing using Premiere Pro. My computer was fine until I upgraded CPU from a 12900. So much time and money lost. Now I find out Intel made bad chips. I go to return and find out Best Buy only has a 14 day return policy which is not enough time to troubleshoot and figure out that the CPU does not work.

Best buy sold me a review unit that wouldn't work in a actual PC. Took over a month to find this information out from Intel's warranty program. Best buy refused to replace it because it was outside their 2 week return policy. I'm never shopping here again when Amazon has a 30 day returns for any reason.

It was great until Intel's voltage settings degraded it into oblivion. RMAing as we speak... The new BIOS fix is out but it won't fix your already damaged CPU.

Not stable, can break your motherboard. Do NOT buy this. I patched my BIOs with the intel update to fix the instability issue and it still has issues.

Slowed down gaming and continued crashing after a few months going amd next build.

Worst CPU ever. Very unstable and crashes when running any games.

If you game avoid this processor. It is terrible for gaming.

I was a little scared of getting this since i learned of the 13/14 gen debacle. After getting it for $315 instead of an AMD that was $450 I felt like i scored. I hope to try AMD next round if the prices are cheaper. Installed into a new mobo and immediately updated the gugabyte board to the newest bios and made sure the default intel speed was on. So far so good. Coming from an 11700k the speed is fasted and more responsive.

Good cpu for the price. Will probably have to upgrade in a couple years but over all a great purchase.

Works great. On par with my 13900k. It runs very smoothly. Not alot of heat issues.

Very powerful CPU. Make sure you have a good cooling solution for this chip! I suggest getting a "contact frame" for this to help with cooling. Intel XTU will let you do undervolting, manual overclock, or AI overclock. I highly suggest using HWMonitor to watch your temps!

I ordered a processor and it came out defective, I went to ask for a refund and they gave me a new one without problems and it works excellent, very satisfied with the product and the customer service.

Great, simple power. This CPU is capable of handling my highly demanding photography apps. Paired with a great video card, works without hick ups for video editing.

Coming from a I7 4790k this was a huge improvement in performance, this CPU can handle everything on my daily basis.

My new computer is the fastest game system i have ever owned with these new parts. Best Buy had the parts available when i needed them. Thank you.

best product for gaming excellent performance i love

I have had no issues with this CPU. Thermals stay around 29c with a Noctua air cooler.
