Beast of a cpu, i can have all the tabs open on opera gx i want and play games without cpu even trying. Just amazing

I've run Intel exclusively since replacing a Phenom II in what had to be 2010/2011. After I had purchased it articles on stability issues started popping up. They didn't really worry me especially as they were mainly surrounding the 13900/14900 i9s..But that was until I started having random crashes that have ultimately been pinpointed to the CPU. What makes it worse is..I'm stuck with it. I spent $900 on the CPU, a motherboard obviously for this specific chipset, and less importantly - RAM. There's no fix from Intel. RMA? Sure, for the same CPU with an inherent design flaw and an apparent 100% failure rate (that percentage is based on 3rd party investigators, not made up.) If I switch to an AMD CPU I'm basically out another $700. Everything minus RAM. I'm a college student, I can't afford that. At least whilst it is working, it's fast?

I upgraded from an i5 13600k and have seen a masive boost in performance after installing this new cpu

I am building a gaming computer. I have never done gaming since my 1980 experiences building the Heath-kit H-89 computer and writing a pong game in basic. Looking forward now to see what todays gaming is all about. The I7 is on the motherboard and powered up. No smoke yet.

Easy install had to update bios for 14th gen but this bad boi chews threw games and I love it

I am kind of surprised at how many people have given this a good rating. As a little background, I build a new computer every three years, and I alternate between Intel and AMD. Unfortunately, I didn't do my due diligence on Intel this year, or I would have stuck with AMD. The 14th gen chips suck up too much power and have heating issues. This is likely due to AMD's excellent chips putting pressure on Team Blue to release their own chips before they are ready. In practice, this has left me with some stability issues when gaming. I'm not overclocking the chip, and I've suffered crashes and bluescreens across two different motherboards. I'm beyond my return date (though Best Buy would likely refund me via gift card, but I'm not going to press my luck) so I'm going to eat the price of the chip and got to AMD's highly regarded 7800X3D which is $30-40 cheaper.

Very fast, best value in a 14th gen CPU. i am planning to buy another for a family member build.

Previously had an i7 8th gen. Upgraded to 14th gen and now I see the world in a whole new light.

This thing is a beast, the last line of processors for this platform, might as well get the best for the price
