Bought it for my kids because they game a lot and their PC's were laggy. Popped this in along with a new motherboard and now their games run smoothly.

Awesome after lower cost

Intel has finally brought down the cost of their CPU product line. The i7-9700K is still betters the Ryzen CPU for gaming.

Everything loads faster and smoother. CPU intensive games like Minecraft work better, and video encoding is super quick.
