Purchased for a new gaming PC build for a family member last year. I like it so much I decided to upgrade my system and purchased another one for myself. With the price reduction due to the 10th gen being available, it was the deciding factor between i7 and Ryzen 7.

I7 is a very nice platform to start on!

So I said "Funk it" I went all in on I7 9700k! I have to say it was the best decision I've made! A little editing here, Photoshop, and surfing. Added a GPU to add a punch to gaming.

I searched online and found that it was on Sale at BestBuy.com and was a VERY competitive price and it arrived in less than 2 days. Very happy with it thus far.

Great for a mini-atx setup.

Great for a mini atx setup as you can use the internal GPU as a message display driver and leave your main GPU to drive my core work software and displays.

Good investment

I do work in game engines and maya and havent had any problems till now.

This CPU allowed me to max out my graphics settings and use my GPU to its fullest potential.
