Works great

Works great in my new PC. I got it on a large sale though, so if it's at full MSRP, you're likely better off going with AMD at the time of this review

Not DOA, but secretly is lazy

Once I did however, I noticed that this thing was not able to output what it should have been, and I noticed that it just wasn't drawing more than 40 watts, meaning it just could not keep up with intense loads as it would just run slower. Something is making it think it only needs 40w, even when I'm trying to push it to the limit and it should be drawing 100+ watts. Tried everything, looked up everything, updated everything, completely reinstalled a fresh windows, nothing worked. Power supply was not the issue (gave more power to previous cpu). Figured I could try to get a new one if this one was indeed messed up somehow at birth, but in order to test warranty I'd need to send it in for testing which would take weeks or months, something I can't do as I need this thing working for classes. At least it's easy for my cooler to keep up.

The Intel processor works like a champ

The processor is having no problems with the load with I stream.

Latest gen i7 is a hit

Good and Working as expected

I know it's nothing much, and I can just clean it with alcohol... But it's a ~$400 product, and can't they keep it clean? The intel box seal was looking okay, but the seal doesn't look right. Conclusion: the product works fine, but I wish BB can have better quality control before sending it... (my theory, maybe it's a return product, and they just resell it).

I purchased this because it has a built-in video chip. I have a graphics card. However, I thought this would make for a great backup.

However the hyperthreading loves to sit at a temperature that is not sustainable for extended use (in my opinion). Cool it well or limit your frames!

Faster graphics card
