Good for 1080p gaming

Good processor. Fixed the issue I was having.

You pay more going through bestbuy but also is easier to obtain. Wish I had bought this first instead of the new power supply, new motherboard, and new fans that were suggested by the techs.

Hot! Hot! Hot!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ran much hotter than I was expecting. Purchased a Noctua NH-D15 cooler and still hits 80C-90C in open air! All that extra heat and it doesn't really perform much better than i5-8500 on older machine.

Good processor but has its flaws.

Sadly it falls short compared to its AMD brother, the 3800. However if you like intel and don’t mind the hinderance you can get from low cores, I’d get it.
