This CPU works great it has all 8 cores it can overclock if you know how to overclock do it if you don't don't bother unless you have a MSI Motherboard because they have built-in Auto overclocking features if you have water cooling or AIO liquid cooling or any other water cooling you can overclock this to 5 GHz

I bought this for a PC for my TV that I put together with spare parts I had laying around. Great cpu and since I already have a 9900K for my main PC this was perfect. This second PC saves my from always moving my PC from my desk back and forth. What also helps is I priced matched the price with micro center to get this cpu for a very good price.

We currently bought all the parts to make 2 computers and everything shipped super fast, arrived and worked perfectly!!!! I had one item I had to return because we didn't need it and one item I needed replaced with another and Best Buy is the best when it comes to returns! The processor is super fast and works perfectly with both of the computers we built!

Great processor that makes me regret buying a 9900k in a previous build. True 8 core processor will give you the performance you need and processor had a flat face upon opening and will make you happy on Cinebench

Performance for price is amazing. Far better than the rhyzen equivalent

Upgraded from an 8600k, and single-thread performance is the same at 5.1Ghz (613 GPU-Z single thread, 3260 PassMark single thread), but I play other games aside from sims and the 9700k runs heavily multi-threaded games *much* better. Mine is easily stable at 5.1Ghz all-cores, and 5.2Ghz up to 4 cores. No bottleneck with a 2080 ti.

This is very comparable to the 9900K when gaming, and with the lower price! The IHS is soldered to the die which allows for greater heat transfer, a feature also shared with the 9900K. Good chip if you're looking to upgrade from an earlier generation processor that utilizes the z370 chipset. You would need to update your bios though.

So far, this product has been outstanding! Managed to get mine overclocked to 4.9Ghz after letting the AI overclock software in ASUS z390-E play with it for a few boot cycles. This cpu is great cost efficiency versus future proofing. While you could get a newer AMD Ryzen, I’m an intel fan boy, so this was the chip for me!

This cpu is a monster! It’s super fast and price is decent.

Though it doesn't support hyperthreading anymore, it's still a great processor. There are a lot of options out there nowadays for gaming, video editing etc. but this is still one of the better options. Of course there are better options if you want but this is a great option for most of what gamers and content creators do.

This processor is very fast and great for the price.

My last CPU purchase came with a small tube of paste, but this one did not. Surprised me. The best buy people said it came with it, but it did not. LUCKILY, I had some from my previous CPU so it saved a special trip to BB. As far as the processor goes, I like it. My games seem to run better, and there have been no issues yet.

Great performance, easily overclockable, great for gaming

Kinda sad brought the CPU but I'm just going use it to game and encoding video, multitask. CPU would be consider worthless for the task I'm doing. But if it was in a hand of other, there so much you can do from overclocking running intense program. Easy to install and does not come with cooler and thermal compound. Make sure your motherboard is coffee lake 9th gen ready or you might have to flash bios. Able to run Battlefield V on high setting above 60 fps using a GTX 1660 combine with this CPU.
