    I'm coming from a four year old laptop. This monster CPU does everything well except keeping cool. It crushes compression, gaming, and video editing. I am very satisfied with my purchase, especially with thunderbolt, a feature I can not live without. I do want more pcie lanes, but that'll never happen for either Intel or AMD.

    This CPU needs a beast of a cooler and power supply to run but it is really worth it. Very stable and no crashes. Much better stability and plug and play compared to 2 other systems I've built (5950x and 7950x3d).
